Mazkeret Batya railway station is an Israel Railways passenger station situated on the railway to Beersheba.
The station is located north of Route 411 and south of the Shlosha stream, near the planned industrial zone of Mazkeret Batya.
The tender for the station was published in March 2016. On 27 December 2016 the Minister of Transportation, Yisrael Katz laid the cornerstone for the station. [2] According to the ministry of transportation the station was to be inaugurated during October 2018, [3] but this was delayed to 2019. The cost of building the station was approximately 20 million NIS. It opened on 30 May 2019.
The station has 320 parking spaces, 9 handicapped spaces and 7 bus bays. It has two 300 meter long side platforms with an underground passage to reach them, serving a total of two tracks. [4] Each of the side platforms can be converted to an island platform in the future, allowing the station to serve a total of four tracks.

Mazkeret Batya is a local council in central Israel located southeast of Rehovot and 25 kilometres (16 mi) from Tel Aviv. Mazkeret Batya spans an area of 7,440 dunams (7 km2). In 2022 it had a population of 15,726. The mayor of Mazkeret Batya is Gaby Gaon.
Israel Railways Ltd. is the state-owned principal railway company responsible for all inter-city, commuter, and freight rail transport in Israel. Israel Railways network consists of 1,138 kilometers (707 mi) of track. All its lines are standard gauge but some were originally built to other gauges and later regauged. Electrification began in 2018 with the new line to Jerusalem and there are ambitious plans to electrify the entire network at 25 kV 50 Hz supplied via overhead line. The network is centered in Israel's densely populated coastal plain, from which lines radiate out in many directions. In 2018, Israel Railways carried 68 million passengers.

Hod Hasharon Sokolov railway station is a passenger railway station located at the town boundary of Hod HaSharon and Kfar Saba, Israel. The station was opened on 2 September 2006 as Kfar Saba Merkaz; at the same time, the neighbouring Kfar Saba–Nordau railway station was renamed Hod HaSharon station. On 6 March 2010, both stations were renamed to their present names.
Rail transport in Israel includes heavy rail as well as light rail. Excluding light rail, the network consists of 1,511 kilometers (939 mi) of track, and is undergoing constant expansion. All of the lines are standard gauge and as of 2023 approximately one-fifth of the heavy rail network is electrified, with additional electrification work underway. The Ashkelon railway station is a railway station that is located in Ashkelon, Israel. It is the southern terminus of the Binyamina–Tel Aviv–Ashkelon and the Ra'anana-Rishon LeZion-Ashkelon suburban lines. Previously, Majdal railway station, built by the British forces during World War I, has existed at the site, and since 1920, the station served regular passenger trains between El Kantara, Egypt and Haifa. Siemens Viaggio Light is a standard gauge single-deck passenger train made by Siemens AG, initially as the diesel ISR SDPP trainset for Israel Railways. The first order included 87 cars, with an option for a total of 585 cars. The cars arrived in Israel during 2008 and are gradually entering service in 2009. They were coloured blue and white after the scheme won in a public poll published by Israel Railways.

The Rishon LeZion–Modi'in railway is a railway project under construction linking the cities of Rishon LeZion and Modi'in in central Israel. The project will form a part of Israel Railways' suburban rail network serving the Tel Aviv metropolitan area, as well as provide an east-west connection between the Tel Aviv–Ashkelon, Tel Aviv–Beersheba and Tel Aviv–Jerusalem rail corridors. The fully electrified line will be 30 km (19 mi) long, and involve the construction of two new train stations and Israel's longest railway viaduct.
