Marco Antonio Solís Sosa is a Mexican musician, singer-songwriter, and record producer. Born and raised in Ario de Rosales, Michoacán, Solís began his musical career at the age of six, performing with his brother Joel Solís as Los Hermanitos Solís. In 1975, he co-founded Los Bukis, of which he was the lead vocalist, songwriter and guitarist. The band split up after nearly two decades of success, with Solís pursuing a solo career. Solís released his debut solo album, En Pleno Vuelo, in 1996 by Fonovisa Records.

Me siento tan sola was the third album from Mexican singer Gloria Trevi, and was originally released on the 23 of july of 1992 by BMG Ariola. A limited release a month after, "I feel so alone", in the convention of her record company, was awarded a Double Gold Record for high sales of her album. Trevi promoted this material in countries such as Argentina, Chile, the United States, Venezuela, Colombia, Puerto Rico and Central America. It was very popular in Japan where it sold about 100,000 copies and in 1992 first traveled to Spain and certified gold record where she also managed to hit the difficult Spanish audience with her uncommon spectacle.

The band was established in June 1996, after Marco Antonio Solís left the band Los Bukis, the remaining members regrouped as Los Mismos. Under the name Los Mismos, the band has released eleven albums, under five different labels, including EMI Latin, Univision Music Group, Skalona Records, Discos Power Records and Discos America. Not to be confused with the Spanish music band of the same name in the 1970s.

It was released as the second single from his 11th Grammy nominated studio album Si Me Recuerdas (1988). This song became their first #1 single on the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks chart.
