Fantasia Monique Barrino-Taylor, known professionally by her mononym Fantasia, is an American singer and actress. She rose to prominence in 2004 for her performance of the Porgy and Bess standard "Summertime" during the third season of American Idol, and eventually became that season's winner. Following her victory, Barrino became the second woman to have her first single debut at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, following Lauryn Hill, when her debut single "I Believe", launched atop the chart. Her accolades include two Billboard Music Awards and a Grammy Award, along with nominations for a Golden Globe Award, a BAFTA Award, and three American Music Awards.

Franco Atilio De Vita De Vito is a Venezuelan Latin Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter. His first album as a solo artist garnered three Spanish-language hits in Venezuela. He signed with the CBS Records label in 1989, and in 1990, his album Extranjero had a song that reached No. 1 on the United States Latin charts and won an MTV Video Music Award. His 2004 album Stop reached the Top 10 throughout Latin America and on the United States Latin charts. In the United States alone, he has scored more than two dozen hits on the Billboard charts.

Los Bukis are a Mexican grupero band. Formed in Ario de Rosales, Michoacán in 1973, the band's current lineup consists of lead singer and songwriter Marco Antonio Solís, guitarist Joel Solís, conga player José Javier Solís, drummer Pedro Sánchez, trumpet player Roberto Guadarrama, saxophone and key player José "Pepe" Guadarrama, and bass player Eusebio "El Chivo" Cortéz.

Watters is a member of the production/songwriting team The Runaways including fellow hitmakers Rico Love, Wayne Wilkins, Ryan Tedder, and Louis Biancaniello.
Belanova is a Mexican pop band that formed in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco, in 2000. The group consisted of Denisse Guerrero, Edgar Huerta and Ricardo "Richie" Arreola. Although these are the only three official members, several other musicians performed in the band's live lineup, most notably Israel "Campanita" Ulloa (drums) and Richo Acosta (guitar). The latter two would appear on a remix of "PTSD" released digitally and serviced to United States urban contemporary radio in November of the same year.
