Fargodome is an indoor athletic stadium located in Fargo, North Dakota, on the campus of North Dakota State University (NDSU). Opened in late 1992, the facility is owned by the City of Fargo, built on university land. The arena's seating capacity is 18,700 for football and over 25,000 for full arena concerts.

Bonanzaville, USA museum in West Fargo, North Dakota

Bonanzaville, USA is a history museum complex in West Fargo, North Dakota. Bonanzaville, the museum of the Cass County Historical Society, is made up of forty buildings on 12 acres (49,000 m2), many of them are historic and from the region. These buildings have been moved to the museum grounds and now form a village setting. Most of the buildings have a special theme. Displays include a prairie church, a general store, a drug store, a fire station, Fargo's first house, and a schoolhouse. There are also several newer buildings which have been constructed on the grounds including an aircraft museum and an automobile museum.

Shanley High School, is a Catholic high school located in Fargo, North Dakota and operated by the Diocese of Fargo as part of the John Paul II Catholic Schools Network. As of 2014, it served approximately 314 students. Academics are strongly oriented towards college preparatory with approximately 99% of the student body continuing to either a 2 or 4-year degree program. In addition to standard academics courses, student complete required religious education courses during each academic semester.

Ralph Earl "Rocky" Hager III is American football coach and former player. He an assistant coach at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ). He served as the head football coach at North Dakota State University from 1987 to 1996 and at Northeastern University from 2004 until 2009, after which the school dropped their football program. He was also the interim head football coach at TCNJ for the 2016 season. Hager won two NCAA Division II Football Championships at North Dakota State, in 1988 and 1990.

Nickel Trophy Award

The Nickel Trophy is presented to the winner of the currently annual football game between the rival University of North Dakota (UND) Fighting Hawks and the North Dakota State University (NDSU) Bison. The two universities are approximately 76 miles apart on the eastern border of North Dakota. The two schools suspended play in 2003 and resumed play in 2015.

The team, which played its 23rd season in the Fargodome, entered the season as the four-time defending national champions. The Bison have been members of the Missouri Valley Football Conference (MVFC) since the 2008 season.

The 2015 North Dakota Fighting Hawks football team represented the University of North Dakota during the 2015 NCAA Division I FCS football season. They were led by second year head coach Bubba Schweigert and played their home games at the Alerus Center. The Fighting Hawks are a member of the Big Sky Conference.

Tim Flakoll is an American politician. He was a member of the North Dakota State Senate from the 44th District of North Fargo, serving from December 1, 1998 through November 30, 2016. Senator Flakoll served on the Senate Education committee for 18 years including serving as Vice-Chairman and as Chair from 2012 - 2016. Flakoll Chaired the Senate Agriculture committee for ten years from 2002 until 2012. All bills in North Dakota receive hearings and votes on the floor. In the 14 years that Flakoll Chaired the Senate Education or Senate Agriculture committees, those committees never lost a committee recommendation on the Senate floor during a floor vote.

Fargo-Moorhead Area Diversion Project

The Fargo-Moorhead (FM) Area Diversion Project is a flood control project on the Red River of the North that borders North Dakota to the west and Minnesota to the east. It was developed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Metro Flood Diversion Authority. The project was expected to begin construction in early 2017 at a cost of $2.2 Billion.
