Meendum Jeano

Meendum Jeano (English: The Return of Jeano) is a Tamil science fiction novel written by Indian writer Sujatha in 1987 as a sequel to En Iniya Iyanthira . [1] Prior to release, it was believed that Rajini's film Enthiran was based on these two novels, [2]

Plot

Ravi and Mano have taken over Jeeva's dictatorship and rule the country with his holographic image without public knowledge. Since Nila is the most beautiful woman they make her a queen of the new kingdom. But Nila is a queen only nominally, Ravi and Mano control the entire government. Jeano, the robo pet of Nila, helps her find her husband and with a self learning mechanism reveals many truths about the present situation. It learns many things from various authors through a variety of book collections and keeps them in its knowledge base. Since its interfering in Ravi and Mano's secret government, they ban all robopets in the country but Jeano finds Nila and tries to help her.

The film is a compilation of two stories; the first one was adapted from the novel Meendum Meendum by Anuradha Ramanan, and the second story was an original one written by Ananthu. Violin virtuoso-brothers Ganesh and Kumaresh made their acting debuts. The film had no songs. Anita Roy is a fictional character from the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks, played by Saira Choudhry. Choudhry was cast in 2008 as part of the new Roy family and arrived in November and stayed in the serial for 2 years before she left Hollyoaks on 20 January 2011. S. Rangarajan, better known by his allonym Sujatha, was an Indian author, novelist and screenwriter who wrote in Tamil. He authored over 100 novels, 250 short stories, ten books on science, ten stage plays, and a slim volume of poems. He was one of the most popular authors in Tamil literature, and a regular contributor to topical columns in Tamil periodicals such as Ananda Vikatan, Kumudam and Kalki. He had a wide readership, and served for a brief period as the editor of Kumudam, and has also written screenplays and dialogues for several Tamil films.

<i>En Iniya Iyanthira</i> Science fiction novel

En Iniya Iyanthira is a Tamil dystopian science fiction novel written by Indian writer Sujatha. In the late 1980s Sujatha wrote this novel as a series in the popular Tamil magazine Dinamani Kathir. Following the success of En Iniya Enthira, Sujatha wrote a follow-up/sequel to this novel, Meendum Jeano. The novel was made into a serial and released on Doordarshan in 1991. The main antagonist Jeeva was played by veteran actor Charu Haasan, Nila by Sivaranjini, Sibi by Shiva and Ravi by Anand.

<i>Pakka</i> (film) 2018 Indian film

Pakka (transl. Awesome) is a 2018 Tamil language romantic comedy film directed by debutant S. S. Surya. Produced by Benn Consortium Studios (P) Ltd, starring Vikram Prabhu in dual role alongside Nikki Galrani and Bindu Madhavi. Production for the film began in February 2017. The movie was released on April 27, 2018. It received mixed reviews from both critics and audience and was considered as a "Disaster" at the box office.

Nila Nila Odi Vaa is a 2018 Indian Tamil-language streaming television series hosted on Viu. It is directed by Nandhini JS and produced by Viu and Make Believe Productions. This is Nandhini's first series as a director, who made her debut directorial venture with Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru (2009). Enthiran film series is the third highest-grossing Indian film franchise after K.G.F and Baahubali. Rajinikanth appeared in the role of Dr. Vaseegaran and Chitti in both films.

Rajini School is a private girls' school in Thailand, and one of the oldest in the country. It was founded in 1904 by Queen Saovabha Phongsri as a replacement for the recently closed Sunanthalai School, which she had previously also sponsored. The school is situated in Bangkok's Phra Nakhon District, at the southern tip of the historic inner Rattanakosin Island. Today it admits kindergarten to upper secondary students, with an enrolment of 2,861 in 2019, and is known for its traditional values. The historic Sunanthalai Building is a listed ancient monument.
