David Desrosiers joined the band in early 2000 and departed in July 2020 due to sexual misconduct accusations. Ladytron are a largely British electronic band formed in Liverpool in 1999. The group consists of Helen Marnie, Mira Aroyo, Daniel Hunt, and Reuben Wu (synthesizers). Smilers is an Estonian rock band formed in 1991 by Hendrik Sal-Saller. The name comes from a Rod Stewart album, Smiler. The band was first named Lezer Brozers. In the early years they tried in Finland with two albums, but didn't find success, so they came to Estonia and became famous very fast. Smilers won Artist of the Year award in the 2004 Estonian Music Awards. Smilers were also awarded a Golden Disc for Song of the Year in 2004 for "Ainult unustamiseks".
Terminaator is an Estonian rock group formed in 1987 by Arno Veimer and Jaagup Kreem in Tallinn 10. High School. Kreem was in the 7th grade then. The first public performance was in Tallinn 47. High School in the schoolbands' festival. The first time in the studio was in 1989. First songs "Charleen" and "Meeletu maailm" were recorded in 1991. They found wider fame in 1992, when they won the festival of young bands Rock In. They have also performed in Latvia, Lithuania and Finland, although they have not had much success outside of Estonia. On the Estonian television show "7 vaprat", Terminaator have appeared playing their songs "Ainult sina võid mu maailma muuta", "Juulikuu lumi", "See ei ole saladus", and "Portselanist tüdruk".
Slowcoaster is a Canadian indie rock band from Sydney, Nova Scotia.
The Drugs were a five-piece Australian alternative rock band. Formed in 1998 by Ian Baddley on lead vocals and keyboards; David Live on lead vocals and bass guitar; Harry Snow on drums; and Mark Tracks on lead guitar, they released their first single, "Pop Song", in April 2000. Their debut album, Music's in Trouble, appeared in October 2002. Their second album, The Very Next Of, was issued in September 2004. The Drugs were nominated for Best Comedy Release at the ARIA Music Awards of 2001 for their debut extended play, The Only Way Is Up. They received two further nominations in the same category, in 2002 for their single, "The Bold and the Beautiful" and in 2002 for Music's in Trouble. They broke up in 2005, and reunited in 2008 for a national tour before disbanding again in 2009. A heavily fictionalised mockumentary about the band, Masking Agents, was released in November 2011.
