Biography

Melissa Baker was born in Akron, Ohio, and grew up in nearby Cuyahoga Falls, [2] graduating from Stow-Munroe Falls High School. [3] She had been a competitive gymnast in her youth. [4] Her family, which is at least partly Greek in origin, still resides in Ohio. Her mother's name is Becky, [5] and she has a twin brother, Brandon.[ citation needed ]

Career

Baker is considered curvaceous. [6] She is represented by Click Model Agency in New York and Los Angeles, and by Women's Model Management in Milan and Paris. [7]

She has modelled for Abercrombie & Fitch, Express, McDonald's, Sisley and appeared on the cover of Bridal Magazine. [7] Baker has been photographed by Bruce Weber, Terry Richardson, Sylvia Krivickova, Richard Phibbs, Raphael Mazzucco, Antoine Vergas, Miko Lim and many more. She has appeared in V and Maxim . She walked for the Malan Breton Spring 2009 Runway collection during New York Fashion Week.

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue is published annually by American magazine Sports Illustrated and features female fashion models, celebrities and athletes wearing swimwear in various locales around the world. Stow–Munroe Falls High School (SMFHS) is a public high school in Stow, Ohio, United States.
