Melodi Grand Prix2025 was the 63rd edition of Melodi Grand Prix (MGP), the annual Norwegian music competition that serves as the country's preselection for the Eurovision Song Contest. It was organised by Norway's public broadcaster NRK, and consisted of a final, held on 15 February 2025. [1] The winner of the competition, Kyle Alessandro with "Lighter", represented Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel, Switzerland. [2]

Competing entries

On 6 August 2024, NRK officially opened for songwriters to submit entries for Melodi Grand Prix 2024 until 1 September 2024. [3] The nine competing acts and songs were revealed on 16 January 2025. [4]
