The film's music was composed by Mani Sharma with editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. The film released on 22 December 2005. The film was remade into Bengali Bangladesh as Ziddi Mama (2012) starring Shakib Khan, Apu Biswas and Rumana.
