Menota Tekah is a Trinidadian former cricketer who played as a right-handed batter. She appeared in six One Day Internationals for Trinidad and Tobago at the 1973 World Cup and five Test matches for the West Indies in 1976. In all,she scored 57 Test runs and 28 ODI runs. She also played domestic cricket for Trinidad and Tobago. [1] [2]
Brian Charles Lara,is a Trinidadian former international cricketer,widely acknowledged as one of the greatest batsmen of all time. He topped the Test batting rankings on several occasions and holds several cricketing records,including the record for the highest individual score in first-class cricket,with 501 not out for Warwickshire against Durham at Edgbaston in 1994,which is the only quintuple-hundred in first-class cricket history.
Nadine Andrea Julietta George MBE is a Jamaican former cricketer who played as a left-handed batter and wicket-keeper. She appeared in 1 Test match,41 One Day Internationals and 3 Twenty20 Internationals for the West Indies between 2003 and 2008. She was the first West Indian woman cricketer to score a hundred in a Test match,scoring 118 on Test debut against Pakistan in Karachi in the third innings of the only Test on the tour. George was awarded an MBE for her contributions to sport. She played domestic cricket for Saint Lucia and Trinidad and Tobago.
Edwin Lloyd St Hill was a Trinidadian cricketer who played two Test matches for the West Indies in 1930. His brothers,Wilton and Cyl,also played for Trinidad and Tobago;in addition,the former played Test matches for the West Indies. St Hill first played local cricket in with some success and graduated to the Trinidad and Tobago team. He played regularly for the next five years but was not selected for any representative West Indian teams. His increased success in 1929 attracted the attention of the West Indies selectors,and he played two Test matches against England in 1930. Although not particularly successful,he bowled steadily and was chosen to tour Australia with the West Indies in 1930–31. He was fairly effective in first-class games but the form of the other fast bowlers in the team meant that he was not chosen for any of the Test matches.
Charles Allan Davis,known as Charlie Davis,is a former West Indian cricketer who played in fifteen Test matches between 1968 and 1973. Davis started his first-class cricket career at the age of 17,playing for Trinidad and Tobago. After a good Shell Shield season in 1968 Davis was selected for the West Indies. The highlight of his career was a home series against India,in which he scored 529 runs in four Tests at the average of 132.25. He was also a useful bowler,taking 63 wickets at first-class level. His Test career ended while the West Indies were in transition,and the arrival of newer players accounted for any place for Davis in the side.
Stephanie Judith Power is a Trinidadian former cricketer who played as a wicket-keeper and right-handed batter West Indies cricketer. She appeared in one Test match and 34 One Day Internationals for the West Indies between 1993 and 2005,and captained the side between 2003 and 2005. She played domestic cricket for Trinidad and Tobago.

It was the first tournament of its kind,held two years before the first limited overs World Cup for men in 1975. The competition was won by the hosts,England.
