Agnes Binagwaho is a Rwandan Politian,pediatrician and co-founder and the former vice chancellor of the University of Global Health Equity (2017-2022). In 1996,she returned to Rwanda where she provided clinical care in the public sector as well as held many positions including the position of Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Health of Rwanda from October 2008 until May 2011 and Minister of Health from May 2011 until July 2016. She has been a professor of global health delivery practice since 2016 and a professor of pediatrics since 2017 at the University of Global Health Equity. She resides in Kigali.
Antonio Pérez López was appointed in 1995 as president of Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC),The City University of New York (CUNY) which has grown since that time to have the highest enrollment of any CUNY college. President Pérez stepped down in 2018.
Barbara Ross-Lee,D.O. is an American physician,academic,and the first African-American woman to serve as dean of a U.S. medical school;she is also known as the sister of Diana Ross along with being the aunt of actress Tracee Ellis Ross,and singer-songwriters Rhonda Ross Kendrick and Evan Ross. She majored in biology and chemistry at Wayne State University,graduating in 1965. Then,in 1969,she entered Michigan State University's College of Osteopathic Medicine. Ross-Lee then went on to open her own private family practice,teach as a professor,and hold other positions within the medical community. In 1993,she was elected as the first woman dean of a medical school,at Ohio University's Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. She has earned several awards and honors for her work and accomplishments.
James J. Malatras is an American government official and university administrator who was the Chancellor of the State University of New York (SUNY) system from August 2020 until his resignation in January 2022.
