Background

Prior to the production of this album, she released her debut album titled, " Je suis et je resterai ", which sold a total of 130,000 copies in France alone. After her debut album had established her as a known R&B artist, she decided to make her second one slightly different, but still referring to her roots in Je suis et je resterai. In her single Sobri (Notre destin), she had a new producer, Kore & Skalp, to make this song for her album. The single featured a Moroccan artist named Amine, and would make history with the single. Drawing influences from R&B and rai, this single would be one of the best-selling singles of Europe in 2004.
