Mette Tranborg (born 1 January 1996) is a Danish handball player for Team Esbjerg and the Danish national team. [1] [2] [3]

Club career

Mette Tranborg broke though the SK Aarhus first team at the age of 16. She was the first player in Danish league to be excempted from the minimum age requirements to play. [4] She was awarded the Best Female Talent in the Danish league in the 2014/2015 season. [5]

In 2017 she switched to league rivals Odense Håndbold, where she was one of the key players for 2.5 seasons. She missed the last half season due to a Cruciate ligament injury.

In 2020 she switched to Team Esbjerg.

Johanna Maria Helène Ahlm is a Swedish former handball player. She started and ended her career at the Swedish club IK Sävehof, but other than those tenures she played her entire career in the Danish handball league. She also played for the Sweden women's national handball team. She competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where Sweden placed 8th, and the 2012 Summer Olympics, where Sweden placed 11th. Ahlm was listed among the top ten goalscorers at the 2008 Olympics tournament with 40 goals.

Odense Håndbold is a Danish professional women's handball team, that plays in Damehåndboldligaen, Denmark's premier women's handball league. It was created in August 2009 and took over GOG Svendborg TGI's license for the league, which was published in a press meeting August 27, 2009 in Odense Idrætshal. They changed their name to Odense Håndbold before the beginning of the 2016/2017 season.

Mette Melgaard is a Danish handball coach and former player. She was the assistant coach for Team Esbjerg in the Danish Damehåndboldligaen from 2017-2019.
