Mia Frye (born 12 February 1965) is an American actress, singer, professional dancer and dance choreographer who lives and works in France. [1]
Frye is best known for choreographing the dance routine in the music video for the hit songs "Alane" by Wes and "Macarena" by Los del Río. [2]
Frye was born in New York City, and she departed for France with her model mother Radiah Frye at the age of 12 after her mother divorced and met photographer Jean-Paul Goude. She enrolled in a dance school in the Marais district of Paris, and became an instructor three years later. She started appearing in television entertainment shows produced by Gésip Légitimus in the late 1970s and in Les Enfants du rock. At 17, after being introduced to Luc Besson, the latter proposed she appear in choreography for a clip by Serge Gainsbourg called "Mon légionnaire". [1]
Frye came to prominence after she choreographed and appeared in the music video for Los del Río's hit song "Macarena". [2] Frye said that her primary goal when she created the dance "was to remove anything that was too fast ... I wanted to be sure that even a child with no sense of rhythm could dance The Macarena." [2] [3] She appears in and choreographed the dance routine for the Wes Madiko music video for his song "Alane". She was the main choreographer for a comeback show by French pop singer Sheila in 1998, at the Olympia, Paris.
Frye has taken part in French reality shows, starting with French version of Popstars in 2001, the inaugural season for the show. She coached the girl band L5. [2]
In 2004, she took part in La Ferme Célébrités , another reality television show with the task of collecting funds for a charitable association. [1] She returned to French Popstars in 2007, the program's 4th season, as official choreographer mentor for the show. [4]
In 2012, she was a part of the jury in Encore une chance (subtitle: Les plus belles voix de la télé réalité) broadcast on NRJ 12. Other jury members included Richard Cross, Stéphane Joffre-Roméas and Morgan Serrano. [5]

Farah Khan Kunder is an Indian film director, writer, film producer, actress, dancer and choreographer who works predominantly in Hindi films. Khan has choreographed dance routines for more than a hundred songs in over 80 films, winning six Filmfare Awards for Best Choreography and the National Film Award for Best Choreography. In addition, she has worked on Tamil films and also in international projects, such as Marigold: An Adventure in India, Monsoon Wedding, Bombay Dreams and the Chinese films Perhaps Love and Kung Fu Yoga, earning Tony Award and Golden Horse Award nominations. As a film director, she received Filmfare Award for Best Director nominations for her debut Main Hoon Na (2004) and her second one Om Shanti Om (2007) and then went on to direct Tees Maar Khan (2010) and Happy New Year (2014).
"Macarena" is a dance song by Spanish pop duo Los del Río, about a woman of the same name. The song uses a type of clave rhythm. Originally appearing on the 1993 album A mí me gusta, a subsequent remix by Miami-based producers The Bayside Boys became an international hit and inspired a dance craze in the latter half of 1996 and part of 1997. This version topped both the Billboard Hot 100 and the Cash Box Top 100 in the US. The song got the group ranked the "No. 1 Greatest One-Hit Wonder of All Time" by VH1 in 2002. In 2012, it was ranked No. 7 on Billboard's All Time Top 100. It also ranked at No. 1 on Billboard's All Time Latin Songs.
Saroj Khan was an Indian dance choreographer in Hindi cinema. She was born in Bombay State, India. She was best known for the dance form mujra and the first woman choreographer in Bollywood. With a career spanning over forty years, she choreographed more than 3000 songs. She died on 3 July 2020 of a sudden cardiac arrest.

He rose to international attention in 2006 as a competitor on the second season of the Fox television show So You Think You Can Dance. She has worked with Tom Cruise, Celine Dion, Gloria Estefan, Madonna, Ricky Martin, Prince, and Catherine Zeta-Jones. In 2005 she choreographed Cirque du Soleil's world tour Delirium and Celine Dion's A New Day..., for which she received an Emmy Award nomination. In 2007 she won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Choreography for her routine on "Calling You" during season two of So You Think You Can Dance. She won another Emmy Award during season five in 2010. She was a judge during season 7 with Adam Shankman and Nigel Lythgoe. She choreographed the dance sequence for "Get Happy" in the episode "Bombshells" of the television series House.

"Alane" is a song recorded by Cameroonian artist Wes. It was released in May 1997 as the debut single from his album, Welenga (1996). It became a hit across Europe, topping the charts in Austria, Belgium, France and the Netherlands. It is sung in the Duala language of Cameroon though the Tony Moran remix includes English lyrics.
"Encore une fois" is a song by German DJ group Sash!, released in January 1997 as the second single from their debut album, It's My Life – The Album (1997). It features French vocals by German vocalist Sabine Ohmes and found huge success in clubs throughout the world. To date, it is one of Sash!'s biggest hits. In the UK, it was released in February same year and propelled itself to number two on the UK Singles Chart, quickly earning a Gold certification. Throughout Europe, the track became a top 10 smash in countries such as Belgium, Finland, France, Iceland, Italy, Norway, Spain and Sweden. In Greece and Ireland, the song reached the top of the charts. Fanny Pak is a ten-member contemporary, hip-hop and jazz-trained dance crew from Los Angeles, California that gained popularity after appearing on the second season of MTV's America's Best Dance Crew (ABDC). Often while performing, the crew wears bright clothes and bold patterns reminiscent of the 1980s as well as fanny packs, which is where their crew name originated. In addition, all of the members were born in the 1980s. The crew returned to ABDC on the seventh season, placing fifth in the competition.

Encore une chance (meaning Again a chance in French, full title Encore une chance: Les plus belles voix de la téléréalités is a French reality television show broadcast on French music television network NRJ 12 in January and February 2012, and comprising six shows with the first on 24 January 2012 and the finals on 27 February. The music competition gave a new chance to 32 contestants in various music competition shows in France that had failed to win in their bids giving them a new chance with two winners signing contracts with NRJ and given chances to record with established artist. The winner in the female category was Lucie Azard, a contestant from French Star Academy in season 7 held in 2007-2008. She won the chance to record in cooperation with Canadian singer K.Maro.

She is the Founder and main Choreographer of the Dance School, “The Palace Dance Studio", which has produced Dance Crews such as ReQuest, Sorority, Bubblegum, and The Royal Family. The latter has won the World Hip Hop Dance Championship three times in a row, becoming the first Dance Crew in history to achieve it.
Mylène Farmer 2019 is a concert residency by French recording artist Mylène Farmer, launched in support of her tenth and eleventh studio albums, Interstellaires and Désobéissance. It began on 7 June 2019 and concluded on 22 June 2019 at the Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre, France.
