Michael Trigg (born June 27, 2002) is an American football tight end for the Ole Miss Rebels of the Southeastern Conference. He previously played for the USC Trojans.

Early life and high school

Trigg grew up in Tampa, Florida and initially attended Seffner Christian Academy. He had 82 receptions for 1,232 yards with 16 touchdown receptions as a junior. [1] Trigg transferred to Carrollwood Day School prior to his senior year. [2] Trigg caught 30 passes for 586 yards and five touchdowns in seven games during his senior season. [3] He committed to play college football at USC after considering offers from LSU and South Carolina. [4] Trigg was also considered to be a Division I prospect in basketball. [5]

College career

Trigg began his collegiate career at USC. [6] He caught seven passes for 109 yards and a touchdown as a freshman. [7] Following the end of the season, Trigg entered the NCAA transfer portal. [8]

Trigg ultimately transferred to Ole Miss. [9]

The 2008 Ole Miss Rebels football team represented the University of Mississippi during the 2008 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The team's head coach was Houston Nutt, who served his first season in the position and replaced Ed Orgeron, who was fired after accumulating a 10–25 record at Ole Miss from 2005 to 2007. The Rebels played their seven home games in 2008 at Vaught–Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Mississippi.

The 1962 Ole Miss Rebels football team was an American football team that represented the University of Mississippi in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) during the 1962 NCAA University Division football season. In their 16th year under head coach Johnny Vaught, the Rebels compiled a perfect 10–0 record, outscored opponents by a total of 247 to 53, won the SEC championship, and defeated Arkansas in the 1963 Sugar Bowl. To date, it is the only undefeated and untied season in Ole Miss football history.
