Michael Widjaja (born July 9, 1984), is an Indonesian businessman of Chinese descent, serving as the CEO of Sinar Mas Land Group as well as Vice President Director of PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE). [1] [2] Michael was born in Surabaya, 9 July 1984. Michael Jackson Purwanto Widjaja is the thirdborn of Muktar Widjaja, thereby a grandson of tycoon Eka Tjipta Widjaja founder of Sinar Mas Group. Childhood

Michael was raised in Singapore, in 2002- 2006, he studied International Relations and Global Business at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, The United States of America, from which he earned his Bachelor of Arts. [11] Soon after, he started his career at PT Duta Pertiwi under the direct supervision of his father Muktar Widjaja . [13]

Michael Widjaja is the CEO Sinar Mas Land Group as well as Vice President Director of PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE). At the time of his death, Sinar Mas has interests in paper, real estate, financial services, agribusiness, and telecom with holdings primarily in Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, and China, while Widjaja was listed by Forbes as the third richest person in Indonesia with a net worth of approximately US$8.6 Billion.

St. Ursula Catholic School

St. Ursula Catholic School or Sekolah Menengah Katolik Santa Ursula is an all-female Catholic school located in Jakarta, Indonesia. It is located next to Jakarta Cathedral and Filateli Post Office. The school has a branch in BSD, Tangerang. After its initial establishment as an Ursuline Convent in 1859, the Ursulines established the Prinses Juliana School in Batavia in 1912. At present, the school is known as St. Ursula Catholic School.

Asia Pulp & Paper (APP) is an Indonesian pulp and paper company based in Jakarta, Indonesia. One of the largest pulp and paper companies in the world, it was founded as Tjiwi Kimia by Eka Tjipta Widjaja in 1972. Asia Pulp & Paper is a subsidiary of Sinar Mas Group and was officially formed in 1994 when Sinar combined its paper and pulp operations from Tjiwi Kimia and PT Inda Kiat Pulp & Paper.

Jakarta-Serpong toll road is a toll road connecting South Tangerang and Jakarta. The length of the toll road is 13.5 Kilometres. The toll road was completed in 2004 built by PT. Jasamarga Tbk. This toll road crosses South Jakarta and the city of South Tangerang, and connected to the Jakarta Outer Ring Road in Ulujami and Petukangan areas.

South Tangerang is a city in the province of Banten, Indonesia. Located 30 km (19 mi) on the southwestern border of Jakarta, the city forms part of the Greater Jakarta metropolitan area. It was administratively separated from Tangerang Regency on November 26, 2008. According to the 2020 Census, the city population was 1,354,350 inhabitants. The total area is 147.19 km2 (56.83 sq mi). Bumi Serpong Damai, commonly referred to BSD City is a privately developed planned community at Serpong district of South Tangerang, within Greater Jakarta in Indonesia. The project was initiated in 1984 by a group of private developers and starred in 1989. The town is implemented and managed by the holding company PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk, which is owned by Sinar Mas Land, a subsidiary of the Sinar Mas Group, a large industrial conglomerate in Indonesia. BSD City encompasses a total area of approximately 6,000 hectares. The homes in the community are designed to be suitable for Indonesia's upper-middle class, in gated neighbourhoods, each with a different theme. At the time of project development during 90's, BSD City was the most ambitious urban planning scheme in Indonesia to combine housing, business and commercial properties. BSD is a complete community, with businesses, schools, shopping malls, hospitals and hotels.

Bumitama Agri Ltd is the Singapore holding company of subsidiary Bumitama Gunajaya Agro. Bumitama is an Indonesian oil palm plantation company which cultivates oil palm trees and produces crude palm oil (CPO). Sinar Mas Land is an Indonesian real estate development company, which is a subsidiary of Sinar Mas Group. It combines two big developers, Bumi Serpong Damai and Duta Pertiwi. It formed in 1988 under the flag of Duta Pertiwi. It now holds substantial interests in a businesses including residential housing, apartments, shopping centers, hotels, office buildings, industrial estates, townships and cities. Its head office building, designed by Aedas, is located in the BSD Green Office Park in Jakarta and received a high commendation under Indonesia’s office architecture at Asia Pacific Property Awards 2014.

St. Ursula BSD is a Catholic private school, from Pre-kindergarten to Year 12, located in Bumi Serpong Damai, South Tangerang, Indonesia. The school was established in 1990. St. Ursula BSD is coeducational, different from St. Ursula Girls' School in Jakarta, Indonesia. Their logo called Serviam means "I serve". St. Ursula BSD is one of the top Catholic schools in Tangerang, often ranked among the best high schools in the country.

The Serpong-Balaraja Toll road or Serbaraja Toll Road is 39.8 kilometer toll road that will connect Serpong and Balaraja, Tangerang Regency, in Banten province. An extension from the Jakarta–Serpong Toll Road, it will provide access from Serpong to Merak. The toll road will be connected to Tangerang-Merak Toll Road and Jakarta-Serpong Toll Road. Construction was initially scheduled to commence in 2016, but was delayed because of land acquisition issues. Construction of section 1A is scheduled for completion in April 2022.

Rawa Buntu Station (RU) is a class III railway station located in Rawa Buntu, Serpong, South Tangerang.
