Michaela Floeth (born 5 April 1969) [1] is a former para-athlete from Germany who competed predominantly in F44 category shot put events. [2] [3]

At the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing, China, she won a bronze medal in the Women's shot put F42–46 event. She also finished fourth in the women's discus throw F42-46 event. [2]

Floeth won a gold medal at the 2011 IPC Athletics World Championships in the Women's shot put F42/44/46 event. [1]

At the 2012 Summer Paralympics, she won a bronze medal in the women's shot put F42–44 event. [2] [4]

The 2013 IPC Athletics World Championships was the biggest track and field competition for athletes with a disability since the 2012 Summer Paralympics. It was held in Lyon, France, and lasted from 20 to 28 July. Around 1,100 athletes competed, from 94 different countries. The event was held in the Stade du Rhône located at the Parc de Parilly in Vénissieux, in Lyon Metropolis.

She also competed in the women's shot put F41 event where she finished in 6th place.

Tom Habscheid is a Paralympic athlete from Luxembourg. He is a two-time silver medalist at the World Para Athletics Championships and a six-time medalist at the World Para Athletics European Championships.
