Michelle Buswell (born August 3, 1983) is an American model.

Biography

Buswell was born in 1983 in Orange Park, Florida. She grew up in a military family and moved around the United States, living in Ohio, Missouri, Texas, and Florida. On a trip to Disney World in 2002, at the age of 19, she entered and won a new models contest at her hotel after being encouraged to enter by a Marilyn Agency scout. She then left nursing school to become a model in New York City. [2]

The Versace logo is the head of Medusa, a Greek mythological figure. The logo came from the floor of ruins in the area of Reggio Calabria that the Versace siblings played in as children. Gianni Versace chose Medusa as the logo because she made people fall in love with her and they had no way back. He hoped his company would have the same effect on people.

Tommy Hilfiger American fashion designer

Thomas Jacob Hilfiger is an American fashion designer best known for founding the lifestyle brand Tommy Hilfiger Corporation in 1985. After starting his career by co-founding a chain of jeans/fashion stores called “People’s Place” in upstate New York in the 1970s, he began designing preppy for his own eponymous menswear line in the 1980s. The company later expanded into women's clothing and various luxury items such as perfumes, and went public in 1992. In 1997, Hilfiger published his first book, titled All American: A Style Book, and he has written several since, including Tommy Hilfiger through Assouline in 2010. Hilfiger's memoir, American Dreamer: My Life in Fashion & Business, co-written with Peter Knobler, was published November 1, 2016.
