Mick Parkin (born October 2, 1995) is an English mixed martial artist who competes in the Heavyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. A professional since 2019, Parkin earned his contract on Dana White's Contender Series, winning by first round submission. As of February 4, 2025, he is #13 in the UFC Heavyweight rankings. [2]
Parkin acquired a record of 5-0 competing on the UK regional scene winning all five fights by stoppage inside of two rounds. [3]
Parkin was then booked to compete on Week 5 of Season 6 of Dana White's Contender Series on August 23, 2022, against fellow undefeated prospect Eduardo Neves. [4] He would win the fight via first round submission and was awarded a contract by Dana White. [5]
After earning his contract, Parkin made his UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 224 against Jamal Pogues on July 22, 2023. [6] He won the fight via unanimous decision. This would mark the first time in his career that he had gone to the scorecards. [7]
Parkin would next face Caio Machado at UFC Fight Night 232 on November 18, 2023. [8] He won the fight via unanimous decision. [9]
Parkin was then scheduled to face TUF 30 Heavyweight Winner Mohammed Usman at UFC on ESPN 53 on March 23, 2024. [10] Parkin would remain undefeated, winning once again by unanimous decision. [11]
Parkin's next fight was against Ľukasz Brzeski at UFC 304 on July 27, 2024. [12] He won the fight via first-round knockout, marking his first stoppage victory inside the UFC. [13] This win earned him the Performance of the Night award. [14]
