Microloa is a monotypic beetle genus in the family Cerambycidae described by Per Olof Christopher Aurivillius in 1924. Its only species, Microloa niveopunctata, was described by the same author in the same year [1]
Beetles are a group of insects that form the order Coleoptera, in the superorder Endopterygota. Their front pair of wings are hardened into wing-cases, elytra, distinguishing them from most other insects.
