Middlebury College Rugby Club is the Division II rugby union team of Middlebury College, located in Middlebury, Vermont. Also known as The MCRC, the club competes in the New England Rugby Football Union.
On May 5, 2007, MCRC beat Arkansas State 38–22 to win the Division II National Championship for the first time in club history. [1] MCRC won the National Championship again in 2009, beating University of Wisconsin 27-11 and finishing the season undefeated. [2]

"The Blue" originated in the spring of 2008 under coaches Kevin O'Brien and John Phillips. It is a recognition of players that played a minimum of 5 regular season or playoff games for the MCRC A-side. Members of The Blue are responsible for nominating the team's captains for the following season and receive their jersey upon graduation.
Alissa Czisny is an American former competitive figure skater. She is the 2010 Grand Prix Final champion, a two-time Skate Canada champion, the 2011 Skate America champion, and a two-time U.S. national champion. She is also the 2019 and the 2021 U.S. Professional Open Grand Champion.
Emily Anne Hughes is an American former figure skater. She is the 2007 Four Continents silver medalist and 2007 U.S. national silver medalist. She competed at the 2006 Winter Olympics, finishing 7th.
Scott Smith is an American retired figure skater. He won three senior international medals—silver at the 2003 Nebelhorn Trophy and 2003 Karl Schäfer Memorial, gold at the 2005 Ondrej Nepela Memorial—and placed fifth at the 2005 Four Continents Championships.
Karel Zelenka is a Czech-Italian former competitive figure skater. He is a five-time (2003–2007) Italian national champion and competed at the 2006 Winter Olympics. He qualified to the free skate at eleven ISU Championships – three World, three World Junior, and five European Championships – and finished in the top ten twice.
Candice Didier is a French former competitive figure skater. She is the 2011 Winter Universiade champion and a three-time French national champion. She reached the free skate at five ISU Championships; her best results were 14th at the 2003 Junior Worlds in Ostrava and 13th at the 2009 Europeans in Helsinki.
Pernelle Carron is a French former competitive ice dancer. With partner Lloyd Jones, she is the 2013 Winter Universiade champion, 2010 Cup of Nice champion, three-time NRW Trophy champion, and 2010 French national champion. She won bronze at two Grand Prix events, 2011 Cup of China and 2007 Skate Canada International, and competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.
Mari-Doris Vartmann is a German pair skater. With Ruben Blommaert, she won four ISU Challenger Series medals. With Aaron Van Cleave, she is the 2015 German national champion, the 2011 NRW Trophy champion, and 2010 Warsaw Cup champion.
Jenna McCorkell is a former figure skater from Northern Ireland. She is an eleven-time British national champion and won seven senior international medals, including gold at the Ondrej Nepela Memorial and Ice Challenge. She placed as high as eighth at the European Championships (2008) and 14th at the World Championships, and competed at two Winter Olympics.
Adrian Alexander Konstantin Schultheiss is a Swedish former competitive figure skater. He is the 2006 Swedish national champion, the 2004–2005 Swedish junior national champion, and the 2006 Nordic Champion. He is the first Swedish skater to win a Junior Grand Prix event, which he did in 2005.
Brooke Castile is an American former competitive pair skater. With Benjamin Okolski, she is the 2008 Four Continents bronze medalist, 2007 Nebelhorn Trophy champion, and 2007 U.S. national champion.

Ana Cecilia Cantu Felix is a Mexican former competitive figure skater. She is a four-time national champion and competed at 9 ISU Championships. She is still to-date, the first and only Mexican female skater to qualify to the final segment at the World Figure Skating Championships, in 2009.
Nikola Višňová is a Czech ice dancer who competed for Slovakia with Lukáš Csölley from 2006 to 2011. They are three-time (2009–2011) Slovak national champions and reached the free dance at five World Junior Championships. Their best result, 5th, came at the 2011 World Junior Championships.
Alexander Alexandrovich Majorov is a Swedish retired figure skater. He is the 2017 Winter Universiade bronze medalist, the 2011 World Junior bronze medalist, a five-time Nordic champion, and a four-time Swedish national champion. His best finish at the European Championships is 6th (2013). He was 14th at the 2014 Winter Olympics.
UNC Rugby is the rugby union team representing the University of Northern Colorado. It was established in 1969, and hosted the national championship in 1982. UNCRFC belongs to the Eastern Rockies Rugby Football Union, the West Rugby Football Union and USA Rugby, Division II.
Tina Wang is a Chinese-Australian former competitive figure skater. She became the Australian national champion in the 2008–09 season and qualified to the free skate at two Four Continents Championships.
Richard Dornbush is an American former figure skater. He is the 2014 Lombardia Trophy champion, 2010 ISU Junior Grand Prix Final champion, and 2011 U.S. national silver medalist. He competed at the 2011 World Championships and was an alternate for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.
Máté Fejes is a Hungarian former competitive ice dancer. With Zsuzsanna Nagy, he is the 2011 Pavel Roman Memorial champion and a two-time Hungarian national champion. They competed in the final segment at two European Championships.
Franz Streubel is a German former competitive figure skater. He is a two-time (2015–16) German national champion and has won six senior international medals, including gold at the 2012 Bavarian Open and 2014 NRW Trophy. He has finished in the top 15 at three European Championships.
Nikki Symmons is a former Ireland women's field hockey international. Symmons is also a former Ireland women's cricket international. Between 2001 and 2013 Symmons made 208 appearances and scored 31 goals for Ireland. She represented Ireland at six Women's EuroHockey Nations Championships, during three Olympic qualification campaigns and during three Women's Hockey World Cup qualification campaigns. Symmons played in four Irish Senior Cup finals for Loreto. In 2008–09 she was also a member of the Loreto team that won the inaugural Women's Irish Hockey League title. In 2011 she was a member of the Loreto team that won the EuroHockey Club Champion's Challenge II. In 2015 she was inducted into the European Hockey Federation Hall of Fame. Since 2014 Symmons has worked in Lausanne as a Digital Manager for the International Hockey Federation.
