The Midou or Midour (/midu/, Occitan : Midor) is the left precursor of the Midouze, in the Southwest of France.
The Midou rises in Armagnac, in the Gers département. It joins the Douze in Mont-de-Marsan to constitute the Midouze, a tributary of the Adour. It is considered the upper course of the Midouze by Sandre. [1]
Landes is a department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of Southwestern France, with a long coastline on the Atlantic Ocean to the west. It borders Gers to the east, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, to the south, Lot-et-Garonne to the north-east, and Gironde to the north. It also borders the Atlantic Ocean to the west. Located on the Atlantic coast, it had a population of 405,010 as of 2016. Its prefecture is Mont-de-Marsan.

Condom, also known as Condom-en-Armagnac, is a commune in southwestern France in the department of Gers, of which it is a subprefecture.
The Adour is a river in southwestern France. It rises in High-Bigorre (Pyrenees), in the commune of Aspin-Aure, and flows into the Atlantic Ocean near Bayonne. It is 308.3 kilometres (191.6 mi) long, of which the uppermost ca. 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) is known as the Adour de Payolle. At its final stretch, i.e. on its way through Bayonne and a short extent upstream, the river draws the border between the Northern Basque Country and Landes regions.
Armagnac is a distinctive kind of brandy produced in the Armagnac region in Gascony, southwest France. It is distilled from wine usually made from a blend of grapes including Baco 22A, Colombard, Folle blanche and Ugni blanc, traditionally using column stills rather than the pot stills used in the production of cognac, which is made predominantly from ugni blanc grapes. The resulting spirit is then aged in oak barrels before release. Production is overseen by the Institut national de l'origine et de la qualité (INAO) and the Bureau National Interprofessionel de l'Armagnac (BNIA).
The arrondissement of Mont-de-Marsan is an arrondissement of France in the Landes départment in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. It has 175 communes. Its population is 180,294 (2016), and its area is 6,048.4 km2 (2,335.3 sq mi). Its surface area of over 6,000 km² is the largest of any arrondissement in Metropolitan France, its size being comparable to an entire département such as the Eure.
