Mierzeszyn [mjɛˈʐɛʂɨn] (Kashubian : Miérzëszëno; German Meisterwalde) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Trąbki Wielkie, within Gdańsk County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. [1] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) north-west of Trąbki Wielkie, 16 km (10 mi) south-west of Pruszcz Gdański, and 24 km (15 mi) south-west of the regional capital Gdańsk.

The name Pomerania comes from the Slavic po more, which means Land at the Sea.
