Mikko Haapakoski (born January 19, 1967 in Oulu, Finland) is a retired professional ice hockey defender. Haapakoski won bronze in 1986 and silver in 1987 in the Finnish national league, and was signed by the Detroit Red Wings in 1987. However, they never played him in North America.

Jari Pekka Kurri is a Finnish former professional ice hockey player. Beginning in 1980, he played right wing for five National Hockey League (NHL) teams: the Edmonton Oilers, the Los Angeles Kings, the New York Rangers, the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, and the Colorado Avalanche. Rauman Lukko is a Finnish sports club based in Rauma, Finland, best known for its men’s professional ice hockey team. The club was founded as Rauma Woodin Lukko in 1936. The representative team currently plays in the Finnish Liiga, the premier men’s professional ice hockey league in Finland. They play their home games in the Äijänsuo Arena, which has a capacity of 5,400 spectators. Lukko won the SM-sarja in 1963 and won the Liiga championship in 2021. The award is given by the Turku Science Fiction Society but the winner is selected by representatives of the entire Finnish fandom. It has been awarded annually since 1983. Matti Keinonen was a Finnish professional ice hockey player and coach. During his career he played in the SM-sarja with Lukko Rauma, RU-38, HJK Helsinki, Jokerit, and TPS Turku. He was inducted into the Finnish Hockey Hall of Fame in 1987, and into the IIHF Hall of Fame in 2002. Keinonen was nicknamed as "Mölli".
