Milly Clark (born 1 March 1989) is an Australian long distance runner. She ran her first official marathon in 2015 in Amsterdam where she placed third [9] and qualified for the 2016 Rio Olympics. [10] She placed 18th at the Olympics and was the first Australian runner to cross the line. [11]

Clark won the Australian 3000m steeplechase title in 2012 [12] and placed third in the Zatopek 10,000 meter championship in 2013. [13] Clark first represented Australia at the World Half Marathon Championships in Cardiff in 2016, where she placed 11th in a personal best time of 1:10.48. [7] Her personal best time for the marathon is currently 2:26.58, set at the Melbourne Marathon in 2021, a race which she won. [8]

Clark's mother Margaret (née Jack) [14] competed for Australia in gymnastics at the 1978 Commonwealth Games and the World Gymnastics Championships in 1979. Her aunt Elizabeth Jack is a former Olympic diver, representing Australia at Montreal in 1976. [15]

Hellen Onsando Obiri is a Kenyan middle- and long-distance runner. She is the only woman to have won world titles in indoor track, outdoor track and cross country. Obiri is a two-time Olympic 5,000 metres silver medallist from the 2016 Rio and 2020 Tokyo Olympics, where she also placed fourth over the 10,000 metres. She is a two-time world champion after winning the 5,000 m in 2017 and again in 2019, when she set a new championship record. Obiri also took world bronze for the 1,500 metres in 2013 and silver in the 10,000 m in 2022. She won the 3,000 metres race at the 2012 World Indoor Championships, claimed silver in 2014, and placed fourth in 2018. She is the 2019 World Cross Country champion. Obiri triumphed in the 2023 Boston Marathon, her second marathon race. She places fifth in the half marathon on the world all-time list.

She set a best of 1:06:19 hours to win the 2014 Prague Half Marathon. She also competes in 10K road races and her personal best of 30:38 minutes makes her fifth fastest woman ever.
