Milton Luiz de Souza Filho (born 11 November 1961), shortened to Milton, is a Brazilian footballer who played as a midfielder. He competed in the men's tournament at the 1988 Summer Olympics. He spent the majority of his club career, eight years, in Switzerland playing for four different clubs. [1] [2]
FC Sion
Brazil competed at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia. Brazilian athletes won twelve medals: six silver and six bronze, in the first Summer Olympics edition without a gold medal since the 1976 Summer Olympics. The 205 competitors, 111 men and 94 women, took part in 96 events in 23 sports.
Brazil competed at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. 160 competitors, 127 men and 33 women, took part in 106 events in 21 sports. Brazilians conquered 6 medals in Seoul, but only one gold medal.

It was the lowest number since Montreal 1976, but unlike Montreal, two of the three medals were gold and this is also until the date of the games the best result of the country, as the Barcelona Games was the first without boycotts since the Mexico City games in 1968.
