Mindaugas Maldonis (born 30 March 1991) is a Lithuanian sprint canoeist. Competing in the individual K-1 200 m event he won gold in 2021 World Cup stage 2 in Barnaul. [1]
In 2021 Maldonis was selected to represent Lithuania at the 2020 Summer Olympics. [2] At the 2022 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships Maldonis together with Andrejus Olijnikas won silver medal in K-2 500 m event. [3]
Adam Joseph van Koeverden is a Canadian sprint kayaker and politician. He is an Olympic gold medallist in the K-1 500m category (2004) and a two-time world champion in K-1 500 (2007) and K-1 1000 (2011), winning four Olympic and eight world championship medals. His home club is the Burloak Canoe Club in Oakville, Ontario.
