Edge Hills Provincial Park is a provincial park in British Columbia, Canada, located west of the town of Clinton. The Edge Hills flank the wall of the Fraser Canyon north of Moran Canyon and form a small fore-range between the river and the higher Marble Range just east. Access to the Edge Hills is via the Jesmond Road, which cuts north off the Pavilion Mountain Road at Kelly Lake. A spur road from the Jesmond Road west to an overlook at atop the Edge Hills, known as Cougar Point.
Prud'homme is a village in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan within the Rural Municipality of Bayne No. 371 and Census Division No. 15. It is approximately 60 kilometres northeast of Saskatoon. Prud'homme was first known by the name of Bluebell Ranch, then Lally Siding. In 1905 the railroad came through and renamed it Marcotte's Crossing, two years later it became known as Howell, and finally in 1922 it was later named after the bishop Msgr. Joseph H. Prud'homme. The community is mostly based on agriculture.

Oak Hammock Marsh consists of approximately 20 square kilometres (7.7 sq mi) of open marsh, and a slightly smaller area of surrounding woods and grasslands. The total Wildlife Management Area is 36 sq km. It is located approximately 20 km directly north of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, near the town of Stonewall, Manitoba in the Rural Municipality of Rockwood.
Matchedash Bay is a bay and Ramsar wetland in Simcoe County in Central Ontario, Canada. It is the "final inland extension of Severn Sound" on Lake Huron's Georgian Bay, and is "situated at the interface between the Saint Lawrence Lowlands and the Canadian Shield ". It exhibits geologically unique features at the junction of the Canadian Shield and southern Ontario limestone. Wetland habitats in Matchedash Bay are varied, and include swamps, fens, cattail marshes, wet meadows and beaver ponds. Other features include "permanent freshwater lakes; upland hardwood forest, agricultural lands, native grass meadows and a unique, coniferous wetland forest".

Banderilla is a municipality located in the central zone of the State of Veracruz, Mexico, about 9 km from the state capital, Xalapa. It has a surface area of 22.21 km². It is located at 19°35′N96°56′W. Tradition has it that the name alludes to a small flag (banderilla) that thieves would hoist on the summit of the hill of La Martinica as a signal to their accomplices that a valuable goods were being moved along the royal highway.
Hullett Provincial Wildlife Area (HPWA) is a major wetland habitat in southwestern Ontario, east of Clinton, which was developed in a partnership between the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ducks Unlimited Canada. It consists of 2200 hectares of mixed terrain of which almost 40% is open water, marsh or swamp and provides a habitat for resident and migrant birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians and plants. It is home to the Green Dragon, Arisaema dracontium, a plant listed as vulnerable in Canada. It is managed by a volunteer organization, the Friends of Hullett, to benefit the wildlife of the area and provide day-use recreation activities.

The Canadian Intermountain Joint Venture (CIJV) is a partnership of "government agencies, Aboriginal groups, nongovernmental organizations, industry, universities and landowners" for the implementation of the North American Waterfowl Management Plan in the inter-mountain areas of south and central British Columbia in Canada, and the south-western mountain region of Alberta. Its region of operation includes "all the mountain national parks", with boundaries delineated by the border with the United States to the south, the eastern crest of the Rocky Mountains to the east, the crest of the Coast Mountains to the west, and the boreal forest to the north. It is adjacent to the Intermountain West Joint Venture to the south, the Pacific Coast Joint Venture to the west, and the Prairie Habitat Joint Venture to the east.
The Pacific Birds Habitat Joint Venture (PBHJV), previously Pacific Coast Joint Venture is a partnership established in 1991 between governments, organizations, and conservation groups along the Pacific Coast of the United States and Canada, established to protect and enhance wetlands important to migratory birds, within the framework of the North American Waterfowl Management Plan (NAWMP). Participants include the provincial government of British Columbia in Canada, and the state governments of Alaska, California, Hawaii, Oregon and Washington in the United States. The venture's scope covers an area from San Francisco Bay to Alaska, west of the Coast Mountains, and it was the first joint venture of the NAWMP to have an international scope.
