Mircea Ilca (born 25 July 1958) is a Romanian sports shooter. He competed in the mixed 50 metre rifle prone event at the 1980 Summer Olympics. [1]

Mircea Șimon is a retired Romanian heavyweight boxer. He took up boxing in 1971 at Dinamo Bucharest, coached by Constantin Nour, and won a silver medal at the 1976 Olympics, losing to Teófilo Stevenson in the final. In 1978 he fled to the United States, where in 1978–1979 he fought 14 bouts as a professional with a record of 12 wins and two draws. He later returned to Romania and coached Marian and Dorel Simion. He then took a break from boxing for ten years, and in 2007 worked with Romanian Boxing Federation to prepare the national team for the 2008 Olympics.
