Miss Venezuela is the national beauty pageant of Venezuela, traditionally held in September. It is preceded by two or three months of preliminary events, with the awarding of corporate prizes. Miss World 1975, the 25th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 20 November 1975 at the Royal Albert Hall in London, UK. 67 contestants took part in the pageant won by Wilnelia Merced of Puerto Rico. She was crowned by Anneline Kriel of South Africa. Runner-up was Germany, Marina Langer, third place was Vicki Harris representing the United Kingdom, fourth place was Maricela Maxie Clark of Cuba, and Yugoslavia's Ladija Verkovska completed the top five.

Miss World 2013, the 63rd edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 28 September 2013 at Bali International Convention Center, South Kuta, Bali, Indonesia. It was the first time in Southeast Asia and it also was the first time in the pageant's history that the event was held in a Muslim majority country. Contestants from 127 countries and territories competed in this year's Miss World pageant, marking the biggest turnout for any beauty pageant globally as of 2023. Yu Wenxia of China crowned her successor Megan Young of the Philippines at the end of the event, marking the only time to date that the Philippines has won the Miss World title. This victory also made the Philippines the third country to win all of the Big Four international beauty pageants.

Miss International 2018, the 58th Miss International pageant, was held on November 9, 2018, at the Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo, Japan. Kevin Liliana from Indonesia crowned her successor Mariem Velazco from Venezuela at the end of the event. This marks Venezuela's eighth victory at Miss International - the most in the pageant's history. This is the third time in Miss International history that the finals night saw the return of the previous year's runners-up to crown their respective successors. This year Miss International comeback edition with the theme "Cheer All Woman" alongside Miss International Japan 2019.

Angeline Flor Pua is a Filipino Belgian model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Belgium 2018 and then represented Belgium at Miss World 2018 and Miss Universe 2019.

Catherine Haduca is a Belgian-Filipina model, actress and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Liège 2014. She represented her province at Miss Belgium 2014. At the age of 15, Catherine won the public award at Top Model Belgium 2006. She was crowned 2nd runner-up at Miss Philippine-Europe Supermodel 2007 held in Antwerp, Belgium and won the best in swimsuit award. Catherine became Miss Philippine Europe International 2009 in Germany and Miss photogenic. She joined Ford Models Supermodel of the World Philippines 2013 in Manila, Philippines and won the photogenic award together with Masters School for models classes. She became the 1st runner up at the Hair Asia 23rd national open championship in the Philippines. Ms. Haduca won several model competitions such as GINI, the ultimate ice breaker and Jack Link's Europe model search. In 2013, she became GINI's new face and Jack's girl brand ambassador 2015. She was selected as a national finalist to represent Belgium at the World Championships of Performing Arts 2015 in Los Angeles, United States. In 2018, Ms. Haduca was crowned Miss World Beauty & Talent 3rd runner-up in South-Korea and received the Miss waves award. Haduca appeared in French features films such as J'ai perdu Albert, Rattrapage, Le jour attendra and Raid Dingue. She also starred in the film The Bouncer with Jean-Claude Van Damme.

Céline Van Ouytsel is a Belgian model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Belgium 2020. She was chosen to represent Belgium at Miss World 2021.

Kedist Deltour is a Belgian model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Belgium 2021. As Miss Belgium, she represented Belgium at Miss Universe 2021, where she failed to enter the top 16.
