Miss Divine Beauty 2020 will be the 2nd edition of Miss Divine Beauty to be held on 30 August 2020 virtually. Tejaswini Manogna crowned Tanvi Kharote as her successor at the end of the virtual pageant. [1]

Format

Selection of participants

Online registration for auditions commenced on 25 June 2020. City auditions were held only at selected locations in India due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation. The contestants and auditions were divided into four zones, which had a mentor to each zone. Auditions were held for all states and union territories of India. The pageant explores potential talent in all states and union territories of India, selecting 7-8 ambassadors to represent their area in the national finals. Empowering local talents, these representatives will be titled Miss Divine Beauty 2020 or Miss Earth India Finalists 2020 and the national winner will be crowned in the 2020 grand finale.

Top 15

The top 15 finalists were selected through a virtual meeting among the 40 shortlisted contestants. The Top 15 Finalists were officially announced on 18 August 2020 via the Miss Divine Beauty's social media pages. On 24 August 2020, it was confirmed that Rich Sinha, a selected finalist, will be withdrawing from the contest due to her conflicting schedules from her modeling career.

Top 6

The selection of the Top 6 finalists from the Top 15 is based on preliminary activities that include, public choice, video of various walking styles, virtual interviews, social work done or willingness to work for the environment and to protect Mother Earth. It was revealed on 28 August 2020.

A beauty pageant or beauty contest is a competition that has traditionally focused on judging and ranking the physical attributes of the contestants, although most contests have evolved to also incorporate personality traits, intelligence, talent, and a contestant's ability to answer judges' questions on various subjects as judged criteria. I AM She – Miss India Universe was a national beauty pageant in India that used to send its winner to Miss Universe pageant from 2010 to 2012.

Miss Earth India or Miss India Earth is a title given to the Indian woman who represents India at Miss Earth, an annual, international beauty pageant promoting environmental awareness. The current national pageant which chooses the Indian representative for Miss Earth is Miss Divine Beauty of India.

Glamanand Supermodel India is a national beauty pageant in India that annually selects representative to compete in Miss International, one of the Big Four major international beauty pageants. The pageant also selects representative to Miss Multinational, an international pageant organized by the Glamanand group.

Femina Miss India 2019 was the 56th edition of the Femina Miss India beauty pageant. It was held at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Indoor Stadium, Mumbai on June 15, 2019, and was hosted by Karan Johar, Manish Paul and Miss World 2017, Manushi Chhillar. At the end of the event, Anukreethy Vas of Tamil Nadu crowned Suman Rao of Mumbai as her successor. She represented India at Miss World 2019 in London and placed 2nd Runner Up.

Miss Diva 2020 Beauty pageant edition

Miss Diva 2020 was the 8th edition of the Miss Diva beauty pageant held on February 22, 2020. A total of 20 contestants were shortlisted from various auditions across the country. Vartika Singh crowned Adline Castelino as her successor and she will represent India at Miss Universe 2020. Shefali Sood crowned Aavriti Choudhary as her successor and she will represent India at Miss Supranational 2021. Miss Diva 2018 Runner up Roshni Sheoran crowned Neha Jaiswal as her successor. Anntonia Porsild, Miss Supranational 2019 graced the event. This was the first edition of Miss Diva under Liva Fluid Fashion.

Suman Ratan Singh Rao is an Indian model and beauty pageant title holder who was crowned Femina Miss India 2019. She represented India at the Miss World 2019 pageant in ExCeL London in United Kingdom, and was crowned as the 2nd runner-up and as Miss World Asia.

Miss Divine Beauty National beauty pageant competition in India

Miss Divine Beauty is a national beauty pageant in India operating under the parent organization Divine Group, that primarily selects India's representatives to compete at Miss Earth, an annual international beauty pageant working towards environmental protection and promoting awareness. Miss Earth is one of the Big Four major international beauty pageants in the world.

Tejaswini Manogna is an Indian doctor, model and beauty pageant titleholder. She won the title of Divine Miss Earth India 2019 and represented India at the 19th edition of the Miss Earth pageant held at Parañaque City, in the Philippines.

Simrithi Haresh Bathija is an Indian model and beauty pageant titleholder. She won the title of Glamanand Miss India International 2019 and represented India at the 59th edition of the Miss International pageant held in Tokyo, Japan.

Femina Miss India 2020 Indian beauty pagent

Femina Miss India 2020 will be the 57th edition of the Femina Miss India beauty pageant. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, for the first time in the history of Femina Miss India, the entire process of the contest will be held digitally. The contest is scheduled to be progressed in four phases with the grand finale to be held in 2021.
