Miss Universe Nepal 2025

Miss Universe Nepal 2025-The Reality Show, will be the 9th edition of Miss Universe Nepal pageant. Sampada Ghimire of Bhaktapur will crown her successor at the final event to be held on September 20, 2025, at Godavari Sunrise Convention Center. ^{[1] [2] [3]}

The event will be nationally live streamed via AP1 HD on television, ^[4] and internationally via 'OSR Reality' youtube channel. ^[5]

Background

The press conference of MUN 2025 was held at Hilton Hotel Kathmandu on May 28, 2025, where the registrations for the pageant were announced from May 29 to July 26, 2025. It was also announced that the pageant will follow TV Reality Series format with city auditions according to online registration details of applicants via Khalti App. ^{[6] [7] [8] [9]}

On 7 August, 2025, Miss Universe Nepal team visited the 'Meet and Greet' organized by NAIMA Mobility Expo as a part of public interaction event. ^[15] For the reality show version, MUN partnered with OSR Reality, national level digital media for reality shows. ^{[16] [17]}

Miss Universe Nepal- The Reality Show

As announced in press conference, ^[2] the pageant will be a reality show with slight modifications to its basic pageant format. The show with 8 episodes would end with a Grand Finale at Godavari Sunrise Convention Center, Lalitpur. Prashant Tamrakar would serve as the choreographer and 'Master Jury' while Sangita Puri as the 'Grand Jury' for the reality show. ^[18]

Contestants entering the reality show are required to perform in several episodic challenges based on which episodic Top 5 will be selected by judges' score and the episodic Top 5 enters public voting round that determine the subtitle (episodic) winner. The grand finale placement will have Top 12, including the episodic winners. The winner will be crowned on Grand Finale Episode. ^[19]

Contestants

For each episode, Top 5 will be selected by judges, then voting round will open. The highest voted contestant of episode's Top 5 will win that episode as a subtitle. The winners of each episode (subtitle) will directly advance to Top 12 at grand finale. All 12 entrants of Episode 1 were given chance to enter voting round.
