Miss World Philippines 2016 was the 6th edition of the Miss World Philippines pageant. It was held at the Manila Hotel in Manila, Philippines on October 2, 2016.
The contest was won by Catriona Gray, who was crowned by Hillarie Parungao. Arienne Calingo was named as First Princess, Ivanna Kamil Pacis as Second Princess, Marah Muñoz as Third Princess, and Sandra Lemonon as Fourth Princess. [1] [2]
Gray represented the Philippines at Miss World 2016 in Washington, D.C., United States and finished in the top five. [3]

Binibining Pilipinas is the oldest active national beauty pageant in the Philippines. Founded in 1964, it currently selects Filipina representatives to compete in one of the Big Four international beauty pageants—Miss International, as well as representatives to other international pageants, such as The Miss Globe.

Due to the restrictions caused by the disease at the time of the pageant, several health and safety protocols were implemented to ensure the safety of the artists, candidates, crew and organizers of the event.
