Miss World Philippines 2017 was the seventh edition of the Miss World Philippines pageant. It was held at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines on September 3, 2017. It was the first edition under the new national director, Arnold Vegafria. [1] [2]

Contents

At the end of the event, Catriona Gray crowned Laura Lehmann as Miss World Philippines 2017. Three additional titleholders were also crowned at the event which were Teresita Marquez as Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2017, Cynthia Thomalla as Miss Eco Philippines 2017, and Sophia Señoron as Miss Multinational Philippines 2017. Glyssa Perez was named first runner-up, and Zara Carbonell was named second runner-up. [3] [4]

The event was attended by Miss World chairman Julia Morley, Miss World 2016 Stephanie Del Valle, and the Miss World 2016 Continental Queens of Beauty. [5]

Akisha Albert is a Curaçaoan model and beauty pageant titleholder who represented Curaçao in Reina Hispanoamericana where she placed as first runner-up. As the winner of the 2018 Miss Universe Curaçao pageant she also represented the island at Miss Universe 2018 finishing in the top 10.

Miss World Philippines 2021 was the 10th edition of the Miss World Philippines pageant. It was held on October 3, 2021 at the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center Hall A in Subic Special Economic and Freeport Zone, Olongapo, Zambales, Philippines. The event was initially scheduled for July 11, 2021. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it moved at least four times; first to July 25, 2021, second to August 8, 2021, third to September 19, 2021, and finally to October 3, 2021. Michelle Daniela Dee crowned Tracy Maureen Perez of Cebu City as her successor at the end of the event.

Miss World Philippines 2022 was the eleventh edition of the Miss World Philippines pageant, held at the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay, Philippines on June 5, 2022. Tracy Perez of Cebu City crowned Gwendolyne Fourniol of Negros Occidental as her successor at the end of the event.

Reina Hispanoamericana 2023 was the 32nd Reina Hispanoamericana pageant, held at the Salón Sirionó, Fexpocruz in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, on January 28, 2024.
