Miss World Philippines is a beauty pageant in the Philippines that selects the country's representatives to the Miss World, one of the Big Four international beauty pageants.
The pageant also selects representative to participate in minor international pageants such as Miss Eco International. In addition the organizer of the pageant also held its male counterpart Mister World Philippines to pick representatives to participate in Mister World.
The pageant is inspired by the Miss World Ltd.'s slogan "Beauty with a Purpose" and henceforth adopted the theme "Beauty in Giving."
The winner and her court work with charities that benefit children in need and also join movements of supporting women and children's rights and many more advocacies. [1]
The pageant was officially launched on March 23, 2011, at the SMDC Showroom at the SM Mall of Asia. [2] [3] [4]

Quirino resigned as the national director on January 15, 2017, due to personal and business reasons. [5] A day later, Arnold Vegafria, who served as the talent manager of Miss World 2013 Megan Young, took over the position after he met with Morley. Under Vegafria's leadership, seven additional minor international beauty pageant titles are awarded namely: Miss Supranational Philippines, Miss Eco Philippines, Reina Hispanoamericana – Filipinas, Miss Multinational Philippines, Miss Philippines Tourism, Miss Eco Teen Philippines and Miss Environment Philippines for which they will represent the Philippines internationally. Prior to Miss World Philippines, the title was awarded through the Miss Republic of the Philippines pageant from 1966 to 1976, then by Mutya ng Pilipinas, Inc. through Mutya ng Pilipinas pageant from 1977 to 1991, and Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. through the Binibining Pilipinas pageant from 1992 to 2010. The Miss Globe is an international beauty pageant held annually since 1925. Initially known as Dream Girl International or Boston Globe, the contest was rebranded as Miss Globe in 1975. There are three Miss Globe pageants, which are spin-offs from the original Miss Globe founded by Charlie See. The founder and coordinator of these trademarks is Mr. Alien Mouradian, also known as Charlie See. Miss Globe was registered with the Bureau of Patents and Trademarks in Washington, D.C., in 1975. As The Miss Globe, organized by the Deliart Association, the pageant is now officially headquartered in Albania.
Miss Philippines Earth, originally titled Miss Philippines (2001–2003) then Miss Earth Philippines (2018), is a national beauty pageant held annually in search of "the most beautiful and environmentally-conscious and aware woman" in the Philippines.
Megan Lynne Talde Young-Daez is a Filipino actress and beauty queen, who won Miss World Philippines 2013 title and was later crowned Miss World 2013. She is the first delegate from the Philippines to win the title of Miss World.
Binibining Pilipinas 2011 was the 48th edition of Binibining Pilipinas. It was held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines on April 10, 2011.

Miss Grand Philippines is a female national beauty pageant in the Philippines, launched in 2014 by John Dela Vega, who was also the founder of the "House of JDV", one of the country's most recognized pageant training camps. The winner of the contest represents the country at its parent international platform, Miss Grand International. In cooperation with the Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. (BPCI), some national finalists of the Binibining Pilipinas pageant were assigned to participate in the Miss Grand International pageant in 2013 and 2015.
