The Miss Slovenia (Slovene : Miss Slovenije) is a national Beauty pageant in Slovenia. Miss Slovenia is not related to the previous Miss Universe Slovenia.

History

Vesna Musić was crowned the first Miss Slovenia in 1990. In 1992, Slovenia began to participate in the Miss World pageant, Nataša Abram, Miss Slovenia 1992, was the first Miss Slovenia presented at Miss World Pageant.

Tina Zajc is a Slovene model and beauty pageant titleholder who won Miss Slovenia 2003 and attended the Miss World 2003 competition but Unplaced. At the time, she was a 19-year-old geology student, studying earthquakes and volcanos. She also had a modelling and acting career, and had recorded a song. As the winner of Miss Slovenia 2003, she won a Peugeot 206 car, a ring, a set of Samsonite suitcases, and an all-expense trip to the Miss World competition held in China in December 2003. She liked crime novels, horror films and comedy, and spoke English and German, and Croat.

Marika Savšek is a Slovene model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe Slovenia 2010 and represented her country at Miss Universe 2010.

Nives Orešnik is a Slovene model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Slovenia 2012 and represented her country at Miss World 2012. At the beginning of her tenure as Miss Slovenia, Orešnik received negative media attention for having appeared in glamour photos in men's magazines. She said that, after she was crowned, she began receiving many requests that she engage in humanitarian work. In June 2013, Orešnik met with the Miss Slovenia and Miss Earth Slovenia finalists in Lower Carniola. Also that month, Orešnik appeared at a Zumba fundraiser for an organization that opposes cruelty to animals.

Miss Cameroon or Miss Cameroun is a national Beauty pageant in Cameroon where the winners traditionally go to Miss Universe and Miss World. The current Miss Cameroon 2024 is Noura Njikam of Centre. She will represent Cameroon at Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico earlier this year.
