Miss Uganda or Miss Uganda World is a national beauty pageant in Uganda.
The Miss Uganda pageant started in 1967, with the winner always participating at the Miss World pageant, though having only one Miss Uganda reaching the finals since its inception. [1] The Ministry of Agriculture directs the Miss Uganda with the stated purpose of increasing the interest of young people in agriculture.
In 2014, Salim Saleh publicly announced collaboration between the Miss Uganda Foundation, the organizers of the annual contest, and the Wealth Creation program that Saleh heads. "We are almost signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Miss Uganda Foundation because we want to choose the next Miss Uganda basing on agriculture and this is intended to interest the young people into the sector," Saleh said. Dora Mwima, also Dorah Mwima is a Ugandan model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Uganda 2008 at the age of 18. She represented Uganda in Miss World 2008 in South Africa.
George William Thembo Nyombi is a Ugandan economist and politician. He is the executive director Uganda Communications Commission a position he assumed on 24 November 2023 and a former State Minister for Information Technology in the Ugandan Cabinet. He was appointed to that position on 27 May 2011. He replaced Alintuma Nsambu, who was dropped from the Cabinet. Prior to that, he served as the State Minister for Luweero Triangle in the Office of the Prime Minister, from 2009 until 2011. Nyombi Thembo is also a former Member of Parliament (MP), for "Kassanda County South", Mubende District. He has continuously represented the constituency since 2001.

Ragga Dee, born Daniel Kazibwe, is a Ugandan musician and politician. He contested for mayor of Kampala in the 2016 general elections. Currently, Ragga Dee serves as An Arts Administrator representing Art on the Private Sector Foundation Executive as well as Being Chairman National Culture Forum.
Enid Mirembe, is a Ugandan beauty pageant contestant, who was crowned "Miss Tourism Busoga Region" on 26 July 2015. In 2016, As an entreprenuer she founded the Rolex initiative organisation and Rolex Festival a flagship culinary event on Uganda’s Tourism Calender. Stellah Nantumbwe also Stella Nantumbwe commonly known as Ellah is a Ugandan actress, media personality and beauty pageant titleholder who won Miss Uganda 2013. She was Uganda's representative to the Big Brother Africa, in 2014.
Quiin Abenakyo is a Ugandan model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Uganda 2018. She represented Uganda at Miss World 2018 in China and was crowned Miss World Africa 2018. At the Miss World 2018 contest, Abenakyo was a winner in the head to head challenge portion of the contest, and she placed in the Top 5 overall. She is the first Ugandan to place this high in this annual pageant.
Leah Kagasa is a Ugandan model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Uganda 2016. She reigned for 2 years as Miss Uganda from 2016 to 2018. She represented Uganda in Miss World 2016 in Washington, DC, that December. Currently she is involved in the Miss Uganda Foundation charity organization as an advocate for social issues like sanitation, teenage pregnancies and girl child education.

Hannah Karema Tumukunde is a Ugandan model and beauty peageant title holder who was crowned the Miss Uganda season 2023–2024. She represented Uganda at the Miss World competition which took place in India from February 18 to March 9, 2023. She emerged as the first runner up Miss World Africa at the 71st Miss World event that was close to Quiin Abenakyo and was also ranked among the top 10 queens with the best "beauty with purpose project".
