The Miss Gambia is a national beauty pageant in The Gambia. The pageant aims to be a cultural ambassador of The Gambia.
The Miss Gambia beauty pageants aims to be the platform of young women in Gambia as ambassador of goodwill for the country. In 1964 the pageant organized and patronized by Gambians. In 2001 the annual Miss Gambia had not been organized due to myriad reasons including financial, organizational and logistical problems. [1] Miss Gambia winners also had experience in Miss Universe or Miss World history.
In 2022 the new organization under Ida Saine Conteh took over the Miss Gambia beauty pageant. [2] [3] The main plan for a new era is to return at Miss Universe competition. [4]

The Miss Lebanon is the national Beauty pageant in Lebanon.
The Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria – often abbreviated as MBGN – is a pageant organised by Silverbird Group with the main purpose of sending representatives to international competitions. Originally known as Miss Universe Nigeria, it was renamed Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria after news publishers Daily Times lost their license to send delegates from rival contest Miss Nigeria to Miss World. Since 2005, the pageant has produced multiple representatives, but the MBGN World recipient is considered the overall winner. Miss Universe Nigeria was reestablished in 2023, breaking away from MBGN and operating as an entirely different pageant.
The Miss Angola is a national beauty pageant in Angola. The pageant was founded in 1997 where the winners were sent to Miss Universe. In 2022 the brand of Miss Angola also used the name of Miss Angola Universo or Miss Universo Angola, this aims to be the organization's concern to the Miss Universe competition.
The Señorita Panamá is a national beauty pageant in Panama. As of the 2024 edition, Señorita Panamá winners represent Panamá in Miss Universe and Miss International. Miss Grand Ghana is a Ghanaian female beauty pageant, founded in 2020 by Accra-based pageant organizer Legacy Pageants Limited, chaired by Sandy Amissah. The winners of the contest represent the country at its parent international stage, Miss Grand International, while the rest of its finalists are sent to compete on other international platforms. In 2022, the license of Miss Grand Ghana was taken over by Abena Appiah, a former Miss Grand International, who has owned and run the contest annually since then.
