Miss Portugal is the oldest national pageant in Portugal since 1926. The main winner will represent the country at Miss Universe pageant.
The Miss Portugal started in 1926 with Margarida Bastos Ferreira. [1] Began 1960 the organization took a part at Miss Universe, the runners-up went to Miss World and Miss International and occasionally a candidate sent to Miss Europe beauty pageant. RTP - Rádio e Televisão de Portugal made the organization run for Portuguese Beauty pageant in Portugal for long time and from RTP, a second runner-up of Miss Portugal 1996 Fernanda Alves earned Portugal's first Miss International crown. In 2002, the pageant ended the production and no more Portuguese at Miss Universe pageant.
In 2011 the new pageant held as Miss Universo Portugal contest and it continued in 2014 as a beginning from Miss República Portuguesa by Isidiro de Brito Directorship. In 2014 the Portuguese representative at Miss Universe will be crowned at Miss Universo Portugal competition (separate contest but still in under Isidiro de Brito directorship). Between 2018 and 2021 the Miss Universo Portugal title crowned in Miss República Portuguesa pageant.
Began 2022 CNB Portugal - Concurso Nacional de Beleza took over the brand of Miss Portugal and remarked the Miss Portugal back in Portugal. The main winner will have opportunity to represent Portugal at Miss Universe.
Meanwhile, CNB Portugal is the main organization of Miss Portugal since 2022 and in that organization there are some local pageants under that organization such as Miss Queen Portugal, Miss Teen Portugal, Mrs Portugal and Top Model Portugal.

Miss Brazil is a Brazilian national beauty pageant, held annually since 1954. The competition has gone through several incarnations throughout its history, while its main purpose has been to select the Brazilian representative for the Miss Universe pageant. From 2020-2023, the pageant has been owned by Brazilian businessman Winston Ling, while Marthina Brandt has served as its national director.

Miss Grand Brazil is an annual female beauty pageant in Brazil, founded in 2014 by a São Paulo-based event organizer Gerson Antonelli, to select the country's representatives to compete in its parent international contest, Miss Grand International. From 2015 to 2023, the pageant was managed by Concurso Nacional de Beleza Miss Brasil, led by Henrique Fontes. Then the franchise was transferred to former Miss Universe Brazil organizer, Evandro Hazzy of Hazzy Top Talent, in 2024.
Miss Brazil CNB 2022 was the 32nd edition of the Miss Brazil CNB pageant and the 7th edition under CNB Miss Brazil was held on August 4, 2022 at the CAESB Theatre in Águas Claras, Distrito Federal, Brazil. Each state, the Federal District and various Insular Regions & Cities competed for the title. Caroline Teixeira of Distrito Federal crowned her successor, Letícia Frota of Amazonas, at the end of the contest, who will represent Brazil at Miss World 2022.
Miss International 2023 was the 61st edition of the Miss International pageant, held at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan, on 26 October 2023.
Miss Amazonas is a Brazilian Beauty pageant which selects the representative for the State of Amazonas at the Miss Brazil contest. The pageant was created in 1955 and has been held every year since with the exception of 1990, 1991, 1993, and 2020. It is also the first and the oldest pageant in the state. The pageant is held annually with representation of several municipalities. The competition was organized for many years by the ceremonial Lucius Gonçalves as a director, but in 2019, it was TV Bandeirantes Amazonas who carried out the contest. Since 2021, Miro Sampaio has been the State Director. Amazonas is the only state in the Northern Region of Brazil to have two crowns in the national contest:
Miss Grand Brazil 2014 was the first edition of the Miss Grand Brazil beauty pageant, held at the Anfiteatro da Casa de Cultura in Olímpia, São Paulo on July 25, 2014. Fourteen candidates competed for the title, of whom the representative of Paraná, Yameme Ibrahim, was named the winner. She then represented Brazil on the parent stage, Miss Grand International 2014, held on November 1, 2014, in Bangkok, Thailand, where she was placed among the top 20 finalists.
Miss Grand Brazil 2020 was the third edition of the Miss Grand Brazil beauty pageant, held on January 30, 2020, at the Dall'Onder Grande Hotel in Bento Gonçalves, Rio Grande do Sul. Twenty-two contestants, who qualified for the national stage through state contests held by the Concurso Nacional de Beleza, competed for the title, of whom a 27-year-old medicine from Campina Grande representing the state of Paraíba, Lala Guedes, was elected the winner. She then represented Brazil at the Miss Grand International 2020 contest, previously scheduled to take place in Venezuela, held a year later on March 27, 2021, in Thailand, and was named the fourth runner-up.
Miss Grand Minas Gerais is a Brazilian state-level female beauty pageant, founded in 2021 by a Patos de Minas-based organizer, Braz Alves, to select the representatives of Minas Gerais for the Miss Grand Brazil pageant. The competition license was transferred to Adriana Macedo, who has owned and run the pageant since 2024.
