Miss Earth Thailand is a national beauty pageant given to a Thai woman to represent Thailand at the Miss Earth pageant, an annual international major beauty pageant that advocates for environmental awareness, conservation, and social responsibility. [1] [2] [3]
The current Miss Earth Thailand is Cora Bliault of Chiang Mai.
The first ever Thai representative in Miss Earth was Victoria Wachholz who placed Top 12 in Miss Thailand Universe 2001. Since 2002, Bangkok Broadcasting & T.V. Co., Ltd. (Channel 7) was awarded the rights and conducted the Miss Thailand Universe pageant and sent the winner to Miss Universe while the 1st Runner-up to Miss Earth pageant. In 2004, Radchadawan Khampeng competed in Miss Earth 2004 and placed in the Top 8 and became Thailand's first finalist in the Miss Earth pageant.
Thailand placed in five consecutive years with Jiraporn Sing-ieam who placed Top 8 in Miss Earth 2007 and won the Best National Costume award, Piyaporn Deejing placed in the Top 16 in Miss Earth 2008, Rujinan Phanseethum also placed in the Top 8 in the Miss Earth 2009 while Watsaporn Wattanakoon placed 2nd Runner-up (Miss Water) and won the Miss Photogenic award in Miss Earth 2010, and Niratcha Tungtisanont placed in the Top 16, won the People's Choice Award and Miss Golden Sunset award in the Miss Earth 2011 pageant.
In 2012, Royal Thai Army Radio and Television Channel 5 was awarded the rights to host and changed name of the pageant. The pageant sent 1st Runner-up to compete at Miss Earth where it was represented by Waratthaya Wongchayaporn.
In 2017, (Channel 7) appointed Organizer M GROUP ORGANIZE & MEDIA CO., LTD. who organized Miss Chiangmai, as the national director of Miss Earth Thailand. The said organization appointed Paweensuda Drouin (one of the 2nd Runners-up Miss Universe Thailand 2017) in the Miss Earth 2017 and where she placed in the Top 8.
In 2013, Organizer IQ Co., Ltd. was awarded the rights to host Miss Earth Thailand pageant and sent a Thai representative to compete in Miss Earth. This came after the Miss Universe Thailand Organization lost its license from the Miss Earth Foundation. Punika Kulsoontornrut was crowned the first Miss Earth Thailand in November 2013 and placed as Miss Earth-Water or the second runner-up.
In 2014, Nawat Itsaragrisil, who owns Miss Grand Thailand, took over the license of Miss Earth. The first runner-up of Miss Grand Thailand was designated as Miss Earth Thailand won by Sasi Sintawee. Itsaragrisil lost the Miss Earth Thailand franchise in 2015 and was awarded back to Bangkok Broadcasting & T.V. Co., Ltd. (Channel 7).
In 2018, ERM Marketing Co., Ltd., Thailand. (Thaimiss) appointed Nirada Chetsadapriyakun who won second runner-up in Miss All Nations Thailand 2017 to represent Thailand at Miss Earth 2018 pageant.
In 2020, Carousel Production Inc., the owner and organizer of the Miss Earth beauty pageant has granted an authorization to Wisdom Thaiasset Co., Ltd., a company represented by its president, Sirikan Onsonkran, as the franchise organizer to organize a national search for Miss Earth Thailand 2020 - 2022.
Since 2021, the national competition Miss Earth Thailand has been held again after a 8-year hiatus.

Miss Venezuela is a Venezuelan beauty pageant operated by the Cisneros Group. Founded in 1952, it currently selects Venezuelan representatives to Miss Universe, Miss World, and Miss International. The current national director of Miss Venezuela is Miss Universe 2013 Gabriela Isler.
Miss Perú is the national beauty pageant of the republic of Peru. The contest gathers participants from all over the nation, including Peruvian women representing their community overseas. Having been broadcast by all the major television networks in the country during its history, the pageant is currently broadcast by América Televisión. It is preceded by two or three months of preliminary events, with the awarding of corporate prizes by sponsors.
The Miss Sweden or Miss Universe Sweden, is the title of the Swedish beauty pageant, qualifying delegates to the Miss Universe competition. In 2009 the pageant renamed as Miss Universe Sweden and the first national final was held on 6 June 2009, the National Day of Sweden. Among the judges were Yvonne Ryding, Miss Universe 1984. The pageant is a late branch of the Miss Sweden contest. The director of the contest is Joakim Granberg of the Starworld Entertainment Corporation.
The Miss Curaçao is a national beauty pageant in Curaçao. This pageant is unrelated to the Señorita Curaçao or Miss International Curaçao pageant.
The Señorita Panamá is a national beauty pageant in Panama. As of the 2024 edition, Señorita Panamá winners represent Panamá in Miss Universe and Miss International. The Miss Panama brand started in 1952, when the Panamanian Institute of Tourism received an invitation from Miss Universe to send a representative. In 1975, the Señorita Panamá name was used for the first time, reverting to Miss Panama in 1976. In 1982, Señorita Panamá was created by RPC Channel 4 as an alternative to send its winners to the Miss World contest in London. These pageants, along with smaller pageants such as Miss International Panamá and Miss World Panamá celebrated to select delegates for international representations.
The Miss Universe Kosova is a national beauty pageant that sends representatives from Kosovo to the Miss Universe pageant.
Piyaporn Deejing, nicknamed Deer is a Thai model and beauty pageant titleholder. She joined the Miss Thailand Universe 2008; she won first runner-up and was also crowned Miss Thailand Earth on May 24, 2008 in Bangkok, Thailand. An Economics student, she stands 173 cm tall and she represented Thailand in Miss Earth 2008 in Philippines and Miss International 2010 in China.
The Miss Universe Thailand is a beauty pageant that has been held annually since 2000 to select Thailand's representative to the Miss Universe pageant. The competition is a continuation of the Miss Thailand pageant which had selected Thailand's representative to the Miss Universe pageant from 1954 up until 1999.
Miss Tiffany's Universe now known as Miss Tiffany is a beauty pageant for Thai transgender women in Pattaya, Thailand. It has taken place annually since 1998. The winner will represent Thailand at Miss International Queen pageant.
Miss Earth 2013, the 13th edition of the Miss Earth pageant, was held on December 7, 2013 at the Versailles Palace in Las Piñas, Metro Manila, Philippines. Tereza Fajksová of the Czech Republic crowned her successor Alyz Henrich of Venezuela at the end of the event.
Miss Kyrgyzstan is a national beauty pageant in Kyrgyzstan. The pageant was founded in 2009, where the winners were sent to Miss Universe.
The Miss Thailand International is a beauty pageant that has been held every year since 2015 with winners competing in the Miss International, one of the Big Four major international beauty pageants. Accordingly, Miss International Thailand is not related to the previous franchises of Miss Thailand or Miss Thailand World or Miss Universe Thailand.
Miss Universe Thailand 2017 was the 18th edition of the Miss Universe Thailand pageant held at Royal Paragon Hall, Siam Paragon in Bangkok on 29 July 2017. The previous winner, Chalita Suansane from Samut Prakan crowned Maria Poonlertlarp at the end of the event.
Jennifer Paweensuda Saetan-Drouin is a Thai model, television host, DJ and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe Thailand 2019 and was a top five finalist at Miss Universe 2019.
Nicolene Pichapa Bunchu, known professionally as Nicolene Limsnukan, is a Thai-American model and beauty pageant titleholder, who was crowned Miss Thailand World 2018. She represented Thailand at the Miss World 2018 pageant and was crowned 1st Runner-Up and Continental Queen of Asia. In July 2022, Nicolene was announced as one of the top 30 finalist for Miss Universe Thailand 2022 and finished as 1st runner-up, but finally declined a contract of the title.
Miss Universe Thailand 2019 was the 20th edition of Miss Universe Thailand pageant. It was held on June 29, 2019. Catriona Gray, Miss Universe 2018, and Sophida Kanchanarin, Miss Universe Thailand 2018, crowned Paweensuda Drouin at the end of the event. She represented Thailan] at Miss Universe 2019 on 9 December 2019 and finished in the top five.
Miss Universe Thailand 2021 was the 22nd edition of Miss Universe Thailand. It was held on October 24, 2021 at the NICE of Nong Nooch Tropical Garden in Pattaya, Thailand. The previous winner, Amanda Obdam, crowned Anchilee Scott-Kemmis as her successor at the end of the event.
Miss Grand Thailand is a Thai beauty pageant that has been held annually since 2013 to select who represent Thailand at Miss Grand International. The pageant has been owned by Nawat Itsaragrisil since its inception and was previously broadcast on Channel 7 from 2013 – 2019 then instead switched to be aired on One 31 after the pageant ends its partnership with the Channel 7 in 2020.
Jareerat “Baitong” Petsom is a Thai environmental care advocate and beauty pageant titleholder declared as Miss Earth - Fire at the 21st edition of Miss Earth on 21 November 2021 and later crowned on 24 April 2022. She earned her bachelor's degree in architecture from the King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang in Bangkok, Thailand.
