Miss Queen Portugal is a national beauty pageant in Portugal. [1] [2] It is responsible for selecting the country's representative to Miss Earth, [3] which is an annual international beauty pageant promoting environmental awareness. [4] [5] [6]
Miss Queen Portugal Organization, whose main legacy are environmental causes, follows the platform of the Miss Earth Foundation. [7] The winner of Miss Queen Portugal is the Portuguese representative in the Miss Earth pageant, which is one of the Big Four international beauty pageants in the world. [8]
The Miss Queen Portugal pageant was first held in 2013 in Caminha, Portugal won by Solange Duarte, from Ovar. [1] However, the first delegate chosen by Miss Queen Portugal Organizing Committee to represent Portugal in the Miss Earth pageant was Susana Nogueira and participated in the Miss Earth 2011 and finished as one of the Top 16 semifinalists. [9] Portugal's delegates in the Miss Earth 2004 and Miss Earth 2005 were selected by a different organization.
The pageant is a search for the most beautiful women of Portugal to serve as a role model dedicated to uphold the advocacy to preserve and restore of the earth. [1]
In 2022 the Miss Queen Portugal acquired the license of Miss Universe pageant.

The Miss Spain is a national beauty pageant in Spain that selects Spanish representatives to compete in three of the big four major international beauty pageants: the Miss Universe, Miss World, and Miss International competitions.

The Señorita Panamá is a national beauty pageant in Panama. As of the 2024 edition, Señorita Panamá winners represent Panamá in Miss Universe. The Miss Panama brand started in 1952, when the Panamanian Institute of Tourism received an invitation from Miss Universe to send a representative. In 1975, the Señorita Panamá name was used for the first time, reverting to Miss Panama in 1976. In 1982, Señorita Panamá was created by RPC Channel 4 as an alternative to send its winners to the Miss World contest in London. These pageants, along with smaller pageants such as Miss International Panamá and Miss World Panamá celebrated to select delegates for international representations.

The Miss Uruguay is a national beauty pageant in Uruguay that selects Uruguay representatives to compete in three of the big four major international beauty pageants: the Miss World, Miss Universe and Miss Earth competitions.

The Miss Brazil 2014 was the 60th edition of the Miss Brazil pageant, held in Centro de Eventos do Ceará, Fortaleza, Ceará, Jakelyne Oliveira of Mato Grosso, crowned her successor Melissa Gurgel of Ceará. Delegates from each state and the Federal District for competed for the national crown. The winner represented Brazil in Miss Universe 2014 and placed Top 15.
Miss Brazil World is a beauty contest held annually which aims to choose the best candidate to represent their country with honor in the traditional international Miss World contest. The Brazilian representatives began to be sent from the year 1958, with girl from Pernambuco Sônia Maria Campos. Since 2006 who manages the sending of representatives to the international event is the team led by Henrique Fontes. The country has so far only an international crown, obtained with the medicine studant Lúcia Petterle in 1971.
Miss Cameroon or Miss Cameroun is a national Beauty pageant in Cameroon where the winners traditionally go to Miss Universe and Miss World. The current Miss Cameroon 2024 is Noura Njikam of Centre. She will represent Cameroon at Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico earlier this year.
The Miss Cuba is a beauty pageant that selects Cuba's official representative for Miss Universe—one of the Big Four international beauty pageants.
Thiessa Sickert is a Brazilian journalist, model and beauty pageant titleholder. She had been in various beauty pageants in the World. She started when she was 16 years old, winning the Miss Brasil Massachusetts 2009 in Boston. Then, in 2012, as Miss Minas Gerais she went from the state pageant to the national Miss Brasil, there, she was named the second runner up. In 2015, she was awarded the Miss Earth Brazil 2015 title by its organization and represented Brazil in the Miss Earth 2015 pageant in Vienna, Austria. In that year, Thiessa was crowned as Miss Earth-Fire 2015.

Miss Amazonas is a Brazilian Beauty pageant which selects the representative for the State of Amazonas at the Miss Brazil contest. The pageant was created in 1955 and has been held every year since with the exception of 1990, 1991, 1993, and 2020. It is also the first and the oldest pageant in the state. The pageant is held annually with representation of several municipalities. The competition was organized for many years by the ceremonial Lucius Gonçalves as a director, but in 2019, it was TV Bandeirantes Amazonas who carried out the contest. Since 2021, Miro Sampaio has been the State Director. Amazonas is the only state in the Northern Region of Brazil to have two crowns in the national contest:
Miss Bahia is a Brazilian Beauty pageant which selects the representative for the State of Bahia at the Miss Brazil contest. The pageant was created in 1954 and has been held every year since with the exception of 1990, 1993, and 2020. The pageant is held annually with representation of several municipalities. Since 2022, the State director of Miss Bahia is, Juliana Alves. Bahia has won three crowns in the national contest and also the state that produced the second and most recent Miss Brazil to win the Miss Universe contest, Martha Vasconcellos of Salvador.
