The competition has gone through several incarnations throughout its history, while its main purpose has been to select the Brazilian representative for the Miss Universe pageant. Since 2020, the pageant has been owned by Brazilian businessman Winston Ling, while Marthina Brandt has served as its national director.

Fontoura represented Brazil at Miss World 2016. The contest was held at the Resort Il Campanario in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil.
Miss Brazil World 2006 was the 17th edition of the Miss Brazil World pageant and 1st under MMB Productions & Events. The contest took place on July 30, 2006. Representatives from various cities all throughout Brazil competed for the Brazilian crown for Miss World. Jane Borges of Goiânia, Goiás was crowned Miss Brazil World at the end of the contest by Miss World 2005, Unnur Birna Vilhjálmsdóttir of Iceland. Borges succeeded outgoing titleholder Patrícia Reginato of Paraná. Borges represented Brazil at Miss World 2006. The contest was held at the Music Channel Auditorium in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil.
Miss Brazil CNB 2022 was the 32nd edition of the Miss Brazil CNB pageant and the 7th edition under CNB Miss Brazil was held on August 4, 2022 at the CAESB Theatre in Águas Claras, Distrito Federal, Brazil. Each state, the Federal District and various Insular Regions & Cities competed for the title. Caroline Teixeira of Distrito Federal crowned her successor, Letícia Frota of Amazonas, at the end of the contest, who will represent Brazil at Miss World 2022.
Miss Brazil 2005 was the 51st edition of the Miss Brazil pageant. It was held on 14 April 2005 at Copacabana Palace in Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro State, Brazil and was hosted by Nayla Micherif with Roger Gobeth, Juliana Silveira, Igor Cotrim, and Maria Carolina Ribeiro all as commentators. The Pre-Show was hosted by Astrid Fontenelle. Fabiane Niclotti of Rio Grande do Sul crowned her successor Carina Beduschi of Santa Catarina at the end of the event. Beduschi represented Brazil at the Miss Universe 2005 pageant. 1st Runner-Up, Patrícia Reginato of Paraná, represented Brazil at Miss World 2005 and 2nd Runner-Up, Ariane Colombo of Espírito Santo, represented the country at Miss International 2005.
Miss Rondônia is a Brazilian Beauty pageant which selects the representative for the State of Rondônia at the Miss Brazil contest. The pageant was created in 1964 and has been held every year since with the exception of 1954–1963, 1969, 1977–1978, 1990, 1991, 1993, and 2020. The pageant is held annually with representation of several municipalities. Since 2023, the State Director of Miss Rondônia is Eletícia Dias. Rondônia still has yet to win any crowns in the national contest
Miss Grand Brazil 2014 was the first edition of the Miss Grand Brazil beauty pageant, held at the Anfiteatro da Casa de Cultura in Olímpia, São Paulo on July 25, 2014. Fourteen candidates competed for the title, of whom the representative of Paraná, Yameme Ibrahim, was named the winner. She then represented Brazil on the parent stage, Miss Grand International 2014, held on November 1, 2014, in Bangkok, Thailand, where she was placed among the top 20 finalists.
Miss Grand Brazil 2023 was the 5th edition of the Miss Grand Brazil beauty pageant, originally programmed to be held on June 29, 2023, at Hotel Sibara Flat & Conventions in Balneário Camboriú, Santa Catarina, but was later rescheduled to June 10 and the venue was moved to Recanto Cataratas Thermas Resort, Foz do Iguaçu, Paraná.
Miss Grand Brazil 2020 was the third edition of the Miss Grand Brazil beauty pageant, held on January 30, 2020, at the Dall'Onder Grande Hotel in Bento Gonçalves, Rio Grande do Sul. Twenty-two contestants, who qualified for the national stage through state contests held by the Concurso Nacional de Beleza, competed for the title, of whom a 27-year-old medicine from Campina Grande representing the state of Paraíba, Lala Guedes, was elected the winner. She then represented Brazil at the Miss Grand International 2020 contest, previously scheduled to take place in Venezuela, held a year later on March 27, 2021, in Thailand, and was named the fourth runner-up.
