Miss Earth is an annual international major beauty pageant based in the Philippines that advocates for environmental awareness, conservation and social responsibility. Along with Miss World, Miss Universe, and Miss International, it is one of the Big Four beauty pageants.

Miss Earth 2014, the 14th edition of the Miss Earth pageant, held on November 29, 2014 at the University of the Philippines Theater, inside the campus of the University of the Philippines Diliman in Quezon City, Philippines. Alyz Henrich of Venezuela crowned her successor Jamie Herrell of the Philippines at the end of the event.
Jamie Herrell is a Filipino-American actress and beauty queen. She won Miss Philippines Earth 2014 and Miss Earth 2014 titles. Herrell was a recipient of the Outstanding Individual Award during the 80th Cebu City Charter Day Awarding Ceremony for her environmental advocacies.
Catalina Paz Cáceres Ríos, simply known as Catalina Cáceres, is a Chilean model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Nuestra Belleza Chile and Miss Universo Chile in 2016. She represented Chile at the Miss Universe 2016 pageant.
Miss Philippines Earth 2015 was the 15th edition of the Miss Philippines Earth pageant. It was held on May 31, 2015 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay, Metro Manila. Jamie Herrell of Cebu City crowned Angelia Gabrena Ong of the City of Manila at the end of the event. New crowns made by jeweller Ramon Papa were unveiled during the pageant. Ong represented the Philippines at the Miss Earth 2015 pageant and won.

Angelia Ong of the Philippines crowned her successor Katherine Espín of Ecuador at the end of the event becoming the second Ecuadorian woman to win the title of Miss Earth and the first since Olga Álava in 2011.
Miss Philippines Earth 2017 was the 17th edition of the Miss Philippines Earth pageant. It was held on July 15, 2017 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay, Metro Manila. Loren Mar Artajos, who assumed the title of Miss Philippines Earth 2016 crowned Karen Ibasco of Manila at the end of the event. Ibasco represented the Philippines at the Miss Earth 2017 pageant and won.
