Miss Earth 2025 will be the 25th edition or also marks as the "Silver Anniversary Edition" of the Miss Earth pageant to be held in 2025. [1]
Jessica Lane of Australia will crown her successor at the end of the event. [2]
Emilia Shimanouchi, who was originally crowned as Miss Earth Japan 2025, resigned from her position for undisclosed reasons. She was succeeded by Reimi Shimizu, who was appointed as the new Miss Earth Japan 2025.[ citation needed ]
Shae Parsons of New Zealand was initially expected to participate in the pageant but withdrew due to personal reasons. She was later replaced by India Holder. [3]
This edition will mark the returns of the Cayman Islands, which last competed in 2010; Nicaragua in 2012; Tanzania in 2014; Macau in 2016; Egypt in 2018; Finland and Moldova in 2020; Latvia, Lebanon, and Sweden in 2021; Austria, Estonia, Kyrgyzstan, North Macedonia, and Scotland in 2022; While, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Ecuador, Germany, Kazakhstan, Sierra Leone, Spain, and Ukraine last competed in 2023.
Puerto Rico has withdrawn from the competition after its national organization failed to conduct a national pageant or appoint a delegate.[ citation needed ]
