Miss and Mister Supranational India is a national beauty pageant that selects India's representatives for the global Miss Supranational and Mister Supranational competitions, which take place annually in Poland. [1]
India first participated in the Miss Supranational pageant in 2011, with Michelle Almeida representing the country. She was selected by the Indian Princess organization and made it to the top 20, winning the Miss Supranational Asia and Oceania title in 2011. In 2013, the pageant’s license was acquired by The Times Group, and Vijaya Sharma, chosen through Femina Miss India 2013, also placed in the top 20 at Miss Supranational 2013. [2]
From 2014 onwards, India’s representatives were selected through Miss Diva, a sister pageant of Femina Miss India. In the same year, Asha Bhat won the Miss Supranational 2014 crown, becoming India’s first titleholder at the international event. [3]
Between 2016 and 2023, the runner-up of Miss Diva held the title of Miss Diva Supranational. However, starting in 2024, the primary Miss Diva winner will now be awarded the Miss Diva Supranational title, marking a shift in the pageant’s structure. [4]
India began participating in the Mister Supranational pageant in 2016, with Jitesh Naresh Thakur representing the country through the Mister India competition. Thakur achieved a 2nd Runner-up finish and won the title of Mister Supranational Asia. [5]
In 2023, the Mister Supranational India license was held by Himadri Bhatnagar's organization, which sent Raj Sunil Singh as their first delegate. However, Singh did not advance to the semi-finals, marking the end of India's placement streak in the competition. [6]
In 2024, The Times Group regained the license to select India's future representatives, starting with the 2025 edition of Mister Supranational. [7] [8]
India has won two Miss Supranational titles and one Mister Supranational title.
The first Miss Supranational victory came in 2014 when Asha Bhat won the title, making India the second Asian country to achieve this. [9] [10] In 2016, Srinidhi Shetty secured India’s second Miss Supranational title, making India the only country with two wins till day. [11] [12]
In 2018, Prathamesh Maulingkar became the first Indian to win Mister Supranational. He remains the only Asian to have won the Mister Supranational title so far. [13] [14] [15] [16]

Miss India, also known as Femina Miss India, is a national beauty pageant in India that selects representatives to compete in the Miss World competition, one of the Big Four international beauty pageants. It is organized by Femina, a women's magazine published by The Times Group.
Prathamesh Maulingkar is an Indian model and a former footballer. He won the title of Mister Supranational in 2018. He had played as a centre back for Dempo in the I-League. Maulingkar is the first footballer in Asia to be featured on the cover of Men's Health magazine. He also works as a fitness trainer and owns a gym in the state of Goa.
Femina Miss India Delhi is beauty pageant in India whose winners compete nationally in Femina Miss India pageant. The first Femina Miss India Delhi was Meri jaanki of udairamsar. The reigning Femina Miss India Delhi is Shreya Poonja. She represented Delhi at Femina Miss India 2023, where she placed the 1st Runner Up
The second edition of Miss Diva was held on 14 October 2014. Fifteen contestants were shortlisted from thousands of aspirants in the country, who were mentored by Miss Universe 2000, Lara Dutta. At the end of the event, Miss Universe India 2013, Manasi Moghe crowned Noyonita Lodh as her successor. She represented India India at the Miss Universe 2014 pageant held in Doral, Florida, USA on 25 January 2015. At the same event, Alankrita Sahai was crowned as Miss Diva - Earth 2014 and Asha Bhat was crowned as Miss Diva - Supranational 2014.

Asha Bhat is an Indian actress, model and the winner of the Miss Supranational 2014 pageant. She is the first Indian to win the title. Bhat made her acting debut with the 2019 Hindi film Junglee. She has since appeared in the Kannada action thriller Roberrt (2021) and the Telugu romantic comedy Ori Devuda (2022).
The 4th edition of Miss Diva took place in 2016. 16 contestants competed in the pageant. Miss Diva 2016 featured a television reality series which was telecast on Colors Infinity. The 16 contestants, who were mentored by former Femina Miss India Universe 2000 and Miss Universe 2000 Lara Dutta through the series, were based in a "Diva Villa" at Madh Island and judged based on their performances by celebrity judges.
Srinidhi Ramesh Shetty is an Indian actress, model and beauty pageant title holder, who primarily works in Kannada and Telugu films. She is the winner of the Miss Supranational 2016 pageant. She is the second Indian to have won this title. Shetty made her acting debut with the Kannada action duology KGF (2018–2022), winning the SIIMA Award for Best Actress – Kannada for the sequel.
Peter England Mr India 2017 was the ninth edition of Mr India World contest held on 14 December in Mumbai. Sixteen contestants from all over the country were shortlisted to compete in the finals. Previous year's winner, Mr India 2016, Vishnu Raj Menon passed on his title to Jitesh Singh Deo of Lucknow. Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut took part of the event to felicitate the winners.
The 6th edition of Miss Diva took place on 31 August 2018. Top 19 contestants selected from all over the country competed in the pageant, who were mentored by Miss Universe 2000, Lara Dutta. At the end of the event, Miss Universe India 2017, Shraddha Shashidhar crowned Nehal Chudasama as her successor. She represented India at the 67th Miss Universe 2018 pageant held in Bangkok, Thailand on 16 December 2018. At the same event, Aditi Hundia was crowned as Miss Diva - Supranational 2018 and Roshni Sheoran was crowned as Runner-up. Miss Universe 2017, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters was a member of the jury. Miss Supranational 2017, Jenny Kim also graced the event. This was also the first miss diva pageant in which the finale was telecasted on the same day.
Miss Diva 2020 was the 8th edition of the Miss Diva beauty pageant held on 22 February 2020. A total of 20 contestants were shortlisted from various auditions across the country. Vartika Singh crowned Adline Castelino as her successor and she represented India at Miss Universe 2020. Shefali Sood crowned Aavriti Choudhary as her successor and she represented India at Miss Supranational 2021. Miss Diva 2018 Runner up Roshni Sheoran crowned Neha Jaiswal as her successor. Anntonia Porsild, Miss Supranational 2019 graced the event. This was the first edition of Miss Diva under Liva Fluid Fashion.
Miss Supranational is an annual international beauty pageant, started in 2009, and with most contests held in Poland. A parallel male contest, Mister Supranational, was launched in 2016, also in Poland.
Miss Diva 2021 was the 9th edition of the Miss Diva beauty pageant which was held on 30 September 2021 in Hyatt Regency Hotel, Mumbai. The 20 shortlisted contestants from all over the country competed in the pageant. Adline Castelino crowned Harnaaz Sandhu as her successor. After three months, she represented India at Miss Universe 2021 and became the 3rd Miss Universe from India to win the crown. Aavriti Choudhary crowned Ritika Khatnani as her successor. She represented India at Miss Supranational 2022 and won the title of Miss Supranational Asia 2022. Neha Jaiswal crowned Sonal Kukreja as 1st Runner-Up, whereas Kriti Sanon sashed all the remaining Runners-Up. Divita Rai was selected to represent India at Miss Universe 2022 and placed in the top 16.
Miss Diva 2022 was the 10th edition of the Miss Diva pageant, held at the Famous Studios in Mumbai, India, on 30 October 2022.
Ritika Khatnani is an Indian model and pageant titleholder. She won the Miss Supranational India 2021 at Miss Diva 2021 and represented India at Miss Supranational 2022. where she was crowned Miss Supranational Asia 2022.
