Missouri's 5th Senatorial District is one of 34 districts in the Missouri Senate. The district has been represented by Democrat Steven Roberts since 2021. [2] [3]
The district encompasses about two-thirds of St. Louis city limits, with the excluded portion (stretching from Forest Park down to Princeton Heights) lying within the neighboring 4th district. [4] Even so, the district does include the entire coastline of the Mississippi River along St. Louis. The district is also home to the Gateway Arch, the St. Louis Cardinals at Busch Stadium, Washington University, and the Old Courthouse of the Dred Scott decision.

St. Charles County is in the central eastern part of the U.S. state of Missouri. As of the 2020 census, the population was 405,262, making it Missouri's third-most populous county. Its county seat is St. Charles. The county was organized October 1, 1812, and named for Saint Charles Borromeo, an Italian cardinal.
William Lacy Clay Jr. is an American politician who served as the U.S. representative from Missouri's 1st congressional district from 2001 to 2021. His congressional career ended after he lost in a Democratic primary to Cori Bush in 2020, after successfully defeating her in the 2018 primary.
Missouri's third congressional district is in the eastern and central portion of the state. It stretches from the southern part of Columbia and the state capital of Jefferson City in the west to St. Charles County and western Jefferson County in the east. The district took its current form in 2023, when Cooper and parts of Boone counties were added to the district, while Franklin and most of Warren counties were instead drawn into the 2nd district. Its current representative is Republican Blaine Luetkemeyer.

A primarily suburban district, MO-02 is the wealthiest of Missouri's congressional districts.
Missouri's 6th congressional district takes in a large swath of land in northern Missouri, stretching across nearly the entire width of the state from Kansas to Illinois. Its largest voting population is centered in the northern portion of the Kansas City metropolitan area and the town of St. Joseph. The district includes much of Kansas City north of the Missouri River.
Eric Stephen Schmitt is an American lawyer and politician serving as the junior United States senator from Missouri since 2023. A member of the Republican Party, Schmitt served as the 43rd Missouri Attorney General from 2019 to 2023.

Kehoe previously served in the Missouri Senate, representing the state's 6th senatorial district. On June 18, 2018, Governor Mike Parson appointed Kehoe as Missouri's lieutenant governor. Both Parson and Kehoe were elected to a full term in 2020.
