Airblue Limited is a private Pakistani airline with its head office on the ground floor of the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) Towers in Islamabad, Pakistan. Airblue operates scheduled domestic and international flights, the latter to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. As of February 2024, the airline serves three countries and 17 routes.

North Karachi or New Karachi is a town in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. North Karachi is located between the Lyari River, the Manghopir Hills and two major roads - Surjani Road to the north and Shahrah-e-Zahid Hussain to the south. To the north and west lies Gadap Town, and to the south lie the towns of Gulberg and North Nazimabad. The population of North Karachi Town was estimated to be about 500,000 at the 1998 census. The Green Line Bus route also covers many areas of North Karachi.
Jinnah International Airport, formerly Drigh Road Airport or Karachi Civil Airport, is Pakistan's busiest international and domestic airport, and handled 7,267,582 passengers in 2017–2018. Located in Karachi, the largest city and commercial capital of Pakistan and capital of the province of Sindh, it is named after Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the statesman founder of Pakistan. It is one of the oldest airports in the world.
Sun Way Flight 4412 was an international scheduled cargo flight from Karachi, Pakistan, to Khartoum, Sudan. On 28 November 2010, the Ilyushin Il-76 operating the flight crashed while attempting to return to Karachi after one of the engines catastrophically failed shortly after take-off. Twelve people were killed in the crash: everyone on board the aircraft and four people on the ground. The engine failure was caused by metal fatigue resulting from operation of the engine beyond its design life.
Shaheen Air International was a private Pakistani airline with its head office at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi and was founded by the Shah family. It remained Pakistan's second-largest airline until its liquidation in 2018 due to financial troubles. The airline owed Rs. 1.36 billion to Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan (CAA) and its employees salaries.

AirSial is a Pakistani private airline based in Karachi, inaugurated on 9 December 2020. Air Sial had its first domestic flight on December 25, 2020, and started flying internationally, with King Abdulaziz International Airport, Jeddah as its first destination, on 29 March 2023. International operations were extended to Muscat in Oman from June 2023.
Pakistan International Airlines Flight 8303 was a scheduled domestic flight from Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore to Jinnah International Airport in Karachi, Pakistan. On 22 May 2020, the Airbus A320 crashed into Model Colony, a densely populated residential area of Karachi only a few kilometres from the runway, while on a second approach after a failed landing attempt with landing gear not extended.
Zafar Masud is a Pakistani banker who is the current chief executive officer of the Bank of Punjab (BOP), having held the position since 4 April 2020. Masud is also known as one of only two survivors of the PIA Flight 8303 crash in May 2020, in which 97 people perished.
