Modlica [mɔdˈlit͡sa] is a settlement in the administrative district of Gmina Pyzdry, within Września County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland.^[1] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) south of Pyzdry, 23 km (14 mi) south of Września, and 60 km (37 mi) south-east of the regional capital Poznań.

It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. Its administrative seat and largest town is Września; the county is administered from the district office building there.
