Jennifer A. Richeson is an American social psychologist who studies racial identity and interracial interactions. She is currently the Philip R. Allen Professor of Psychology at Yale University where she heads the Social Perception and Communication Lab. Prior to her appointment to the Yale faculty,Richeson was Professor of Psychology and African-American studies at Northwestern University. In 2015,she was elected to the United States National Academy of Sciences. Richeson was elected to the American Philosophical Society in 2022. Since 2021,she has been a member of the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST).
Shelley Elizabeth Taylor is an American psychologist. She serves as a distinguished professor of psychology at the University of California,Los Angeles. She received her Ph.D. from Yale University,and was formerly on the faculty at Harvard University. A prolific author of books and scholarly journal articles,Taylor has long been a leading figure in two subfields related to her primary discipline of social psychology:social cognition and health psychology. Her books include The Tending Instinct and Social Cognition,the latter by Susan Fiske and Shelley Taylor.

Prior to that she was an Associate Professor in the Department of Management at King's College London and Senior Research Fellow in the Centre for Women in Business at London Business School,founded by Laura D’Andrea Tyson. Stacy Blake-Beard has a BS in Psychology from the University of Maryland,an MA and a Ph.D. in organizational psychology from the University of Michigan. Since 2002,Blake-Beard has been teaching organizational behavior at the Simmons College School of Management and is currently a tenured Professor of Management. Before Blake-Beard joined Simmons,she was Assistant Professor of Administration,Planning,and Social Policy at the Harvard University Graduate School of Education. At HGSE she lectured on organizational behavior,cultural diversity in organizations,and mentoring relationships at work.
Bernice Resnick Sandler was an American women's rights activist. She is best known for being instrumental in the creation of Title IX,a portion of the Education Amendments of 1972,in conjunction with representatives Edith Green and Patsy Mink and Senator Birch Bayh in the 1970s. She has been called "the Godmother of Title IX" by The New York Times. Sandler wrote extensively about sexual and peer harassment towards women on campus,coining the phrase "the chilly campus climate".
Amy Joy Casselberry Cuddy is an American social psychologist,author and speaker. She is a proponent of "power posing",a self-improvement technique whose scientific validity has been questioned. She has served as a faculty member at Rutgers University,Kellogg School of Management and Harvard Business School. Cuddy's most cited academic work involves using the stereotype content model that she helped develop to better understand the way people think about stereotyped people and groups. Though Cuddy left her tenure-track position at Harvard Business School in the spring of 2017,she continues to contribute to its executive education programs.
Gender diversity is equitable or fair representation of people of different genders. It most commonly refers to an equitable ratio of men and women,but also includes people of non-binary genders. Gender diversity on corporate boards has been widely discussed,and many ongoing initiatives study and promote gender diversity in fields traditionally dominated by men,including computing,engineering,medicine,and science. It is argued that some proposed explanations are without merit and are in fact dangerous,while others do play a part in a complex interaction of factors. It is suggested that the very nature of science may contribute to the removal of women from the 'pipeline'.
Second-generation gender bias refers to practices that may appear neutral or non-sexist,in that they apply to everyone,but which discriminate against a gender because they reflect the values of the gender who created or developed the setting,usually a workplace. It is contrasted with first-generation bias,which is deliberate,usually involving intentional exclusion.
