Daiwa Major is a retired Japanese Thoroughbred racehorse and active sire. A horse who excelled at distances of one to one and a quarter miles, he won the Satsuki Shō, the first leg of the Japanese Triple Crown in 2004. His greatest success, however, came later in his career when he won several of Japan's most important weight-for-age races including the Tennō Shō, the Yasuda Kinen and two runnings of the Mile Championship. He was twice named Japan's champion miler. Daiwa Major made a successful start to his stud career, siring a Group One winner in his first crop.
Scintillate was a British Thoroughbred racehorse and broodmare best known for winning the classic Oaks Stakes in 1979. She showed promising form as a two-year-old although she failed to win in three races. After recording her first win in the Sandleford Priory Stakes in the following spring she won the Oaks as a 20/1 outsider. She ran poorly in two subsequent races and was retired to brood where she had limited success as a broodmare.
Ginevra was a British Thoroughbred racehorse and broodmare best known for winning the 1972 Epsom Oaks. After winning two minor races as a two-year-old she improved in 1972 to win the Ladbrokes Oaks Trial before taking the Oaks. She went on to finish third in the Yorkshire Oaks and the St Leger. At the end of the year she was sold to a Japanese breeding syndicate and exported to Japan. Ginevra did not produce any notable offspring, although two of her daughters had some success as broodmares.
Woodstream was an American-bred, Irish-trained Thoroughbred racehorse and broodmare. In a racing career which lasted from July 1981 until June 1982, she won four of her six races and finished second one. As a two-year-old she was rated the best filly of her age in Ireland after being unbeaten in four starts. After winning two minor races she was awarded the Moyglare Stud Stakes on the disqualification of Sweet Side and then traveled to England to win the Group One Cheveley Park Stakes. In the following year she finished second in the Irish 1,000 Guineas but was retired after running poorly in the Coronation Stakes. She had some success as a broodmare, although she produced no major winners.
Dubai Majesty is a retired Champion racemare best known for winning the 2010 Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint and being the only two-time winner of the Winning Colors Stakes.
Pharaoh's Delight was an Irish-bred Thoroughbred racehorse and broodmare. She was one of the best two-year-old fillies in Europe in 1989 when she won the Windsor Castle Stakes, Princess Margaret Stakes and Phoenix Stakes as well as finishing second in the Moyglare Stud Stakes. Although she never won again the filly raced until the age of four and was placed in several top-class sprint races including the Nunthorpe Stakes, Haydock Sprint Cup and Prix de l'Abbaye. She was retired from racing at the end of the 1991 season and had some success as a dam of winners.
Flutter Away was an Irish Thoroughbred racehorse and broodmare. She showed her best form as a two-year-old in 1987 when she won three of her five races including the Railway Stakes and the Moyglare Stud Stakes and was rated the best filly of her generation in Ireland. She made no impact in two races as a three-year-old and was retired from racing at the end of the year. She was then exported to become a broodmare in Japan where she produced four winners.
Valoris was a French-bred, Irish-trained Thoroughbred racehorse and broodmare. After showing promising form without winning a race as a juvenile in 1965 she developed into a top-class performer the following spring when she recorded emphatic victories in the Irish 1000 Guineas and the Epsom Oaks. She was well beaten in two subsequent starts and was retired from racing at the end of the year. She later had considerable success as a broodmare.

In a brief racing career which consisted of five races in three seasons she finished second on her only start as a juvenile, fell on her three-year-old debut and then recorded her first and only victory when taking the 1000 Guineas. She ran poorly when favourite for the Oaks Stakes and finished second on her only subsequent start. After her retirement from racing she had considerable influence as a broodmare.
Cosmah was an American Thoroughbred racehorse. While not known for her racing career, she is well known for being the dam of Tosmah and Halo, who were both top level race winners.
